How do I need to save photo changes?

Why won't the changes I have made to a photo (earlier changes and saved as a new photo) stay changed when I try pulling that photo into my scrapbook. It deletes all the changes made to the picture. How should I be saving my photos with the changes? What am I doing wrong

?? good question.. I have a few guesses.

If you choose the "save" option it should be saving the one you are working with. If you chose the "save as" option it should ask you to pick a new name and save the changes under the new name you select, and not change the original.

So maybe try it both ways. I would start with the "save as" and pick a name that you can recognize. And maybe even save it to a new location like your desktop. Then open that new one (with the name you recognize) and see if your changes are there.

If you are making changes to the picture with multiple layers you have to pull over all the layers onto your new document. You can merge all the layers together before pulling them over or you can link them all together then pull them over.
