I find I can use programs faster when I use a few shortcut keys. Here are a few shortcut keys that work in windows that may help get to those tools faster. The common ones I will use, the less common ones I end up going back to the mouse. I hope this helps!

I know about some of these, but I haven't gotten familiar enough to use them. I really need to start. There is one shortcut I use all the time to zoom in and out. It is 'Ctrl' + '+' to zoom in and 'Ctrl + '-' to zoom out. I also use 'Ctrl' + 'g' to group things. I find them very helpful. Now if I can just remember the ones on your list I'll be set.

The shortcuts are all listed in Photoshop too. It might be nice to print Keith's list and have it handy but you can also look at the shortcuts for each tool or action when you hover over the tool or select the action.

It is 'Ctrl' + '+' to zoom in and 'Ctrl + '-' to zoom out.

Those are the two that I should have started with. That is the only way I know how to zoom in and out because it is so much easier than the menu.

I also really love that you can double click on the dark gray area of the screen to open stuff. Sometimes I get so used to doing that in photoshop that I find myself doing it to open other things. I'll just have started up my computer and I'll double click on the desktop to get that pop-up screen, but of course it doesn't work and then I have to laugh at myself.
