I got this e-mail and wanted to share the questions and my response with you:

Hi

We attended your Photoshop Scrapbooking Class at the Shilo Inn at Idaho Falls on Friday.

We purchased a few of the programs that you offered in your booth & are very excited to get started.

We have a few questions for you.

We have got our workspace set up just as you showed in the class. He have figured out how to open the new pallet, & how to open the background paper & the photo that we want to put into a scrapbook page.

We are however very confused at how to get the paper & photo transferred to the pallet. We have the paper & photos cascaded so that we can see each page. But just can't figure out how to paste them now,

A second question is how to we change the number on the history.

Thanks for your help. We look forward to hearing from you.

Glad you are working on this. You are going to love this once you figure out these little details.

To change the # on the history follow these steps shown in the white bubble in the picture on this link: http://www.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/tips/settingUpYourWorkspace.asp

I think what you have forgotten is to use the move tool to click on one paper or picture and drag it onto the next. When you drag one picture, paper or embellishment onto another the layers palette will automatically show both layers.

I would be in big trouble if I only I could only go back 20 actions (I think that's what the default for the history is). I'm always trying a ton of things just to see if I like them (usually blending) and have to go back more than 20 steps. So glad I learned how to change that before I started digital scrapbooking.
