How do you add a drop shadow? Once you add the shadow, how can you adjust the settings of the shadow? When giving tips tell us what version of PS you are working in.

Should I be answering some of these questions April...since I teach the beginner class? Not to say that most people logged on are probably beyond me (:

In Elements 4.0 you add a drop shadow by selecting the layer and finding your styles/effects palette and select the desired drop shadow. Then, you can adjust the setting by double clicking on the little "f" button on the layer the shadow is on.

Maybe that's kinda confusing... I'm trying to type pretty quickly, but maybe I should calm down and breathe a little. I'll give others more of a chance, too.

Well Quinn. Nice job. Are you feeling competitive? I love winning... ha! Sad but true.

April is competitive because even as a child her Dad wouldn't let her win at Candy Land...she had to fight for it.

I guess I am feeling competitive... but I've won Candyland, so that's not the issue... :)

In GIMP, you click on Script-Fu on the tool bar, click on Shadow, then on Drop Shadow.
