I'm such an amateur at using my tablet - I only know how to use the pen, not any other function. But, I'd like to know how I change the settings so I can personalize the buttons. I just can't seem to figure it out on my own. p.s. the pen is soooooooo fabulous to use for digiscrapbooking!

to get used to handling it, I unplugged my mouse and put it in the drawer. Now, the pen feels more comfortable than the mouse, but it took a few days of utter frustration.

Can you tell us what you can do with them? Or show us.

Here's a link to what the tablet is:

The reason they are so nice is that you have a lot more control - pressure control - over what you're working with. For instance, when using a brush or eraser, how hard you push the pen into the tablet will determine how large (pixel size) it will draw/erase. You don't have to necessarily change your pixel size manually each time.
Also, it's fabulous for when you want to use the magnetic lasso tool to select around an image to delete it from the background because the control is a lot more fine-tuned.
It just feels more natural, too, because it feels like you're drawing, rather than using a mouse.

Oh yeah! The initial reason - as silly as this may be - that I was excited about the tablet was that I could sign my name to my pages more easily.

I don't have one either but I'd like one. You can get small ones for as low as $89-100.
I would like one so I can use my own handwriting on my pages.

I'll have to dig in my basement, but there is this program April that you can get that uses your handwriting. They send you this form in the mail and you write different sentences and letters and they send you a font named April for example and it's your handwriting. I love it. You can load it on many computers too... b/c if your like me... i have 3 computers at home. I like it because i can type fast and it's my handwriting and i don't have to worry about it looking bad b/c i already spent time making my hand writing look good.
