Because the month of July is so crazy for me (and maybe for some of you as well), and I just can't seem to find any time to digi-scrapbook. I thought that it would be cool to have a thread of pictures that everyone has taken recently. I'll start by posting one of mine, so hopefully you all will post some of your new favorites, so everyone can get some inspiration and tips because you all are amazing photographers!

Will you please include in your picture description, the camera used, lense, and (my favorite) what’s going on... so everyone doesn’t sit and wonder.

I used my 30D and 50mm lense

This is my son... he is the new West Point King! I am so excited because there was no kidding, at least a 100 babies that entered in the contest and all of them were so adorable, but obviously not as cute as mine! lol. He was so good with his crown, I thought that it would be bent or torn in 2 minutes... but he just sat there and made funny faces at me. ahhh I just love him!

Here are a couple that I took. I got a new Canon S5 IS and have been playing around with the different settings. Trying to learn more about what I am doing.

This is also taken with a 30D and a 50mm lense. This was at Jenny Lake in Jackson Hole Wyo. My husband took this one, I love it!

Please don't use these photo's in any way... thanks

Jamie!!! Those are incredible pictures. Wow!!! That is my FAVORITE place. I grew up going to the Tetons every year and I worked there for two summers as well.

Jennifer, they are soooo cute. I'm glad you like your new camera.

I have pictures to post but I don't know when I can. I'm leaving for St. George now. Keith has some fun pictures he took. Keith, you should post those.

Here are a few pictures I took the other day when we went camping... It was really fun because Quinn and I took a photo class that Saturday and we learned how to use our cameras more..
I have a Nikon CoolPix 4600 Point and Shoot.

Jamie, I love that shot of you sitting on the rock helping your son wade in the water...with the lake behind you. That is an amazing picture.

I also like the waterfall, and the water pictures Crystal took of the water. There's just something about pictures of moving water that I've always liked.

Jamie, actually that's just how it turned out. The background was shadows, but not that dark. I think it has something to do with the settings I had on the camera. Unfortunately, it's my parents' camera and I don't remember what the settings were called. I know I had it on macro and I had the 80-200mm lens on it, but I know there were a couple of other things I did as well. I did slightly adjust the levels in PS, but that's the only computer enhancement I did. When my parents get back from vacation I'll see if I can figure out the other settings and let you know.

Thanks for the kind words ladies! It was the work of a very sneaky 2-year-old, a patch of dirt in our yard and a garden hose. You gotta watch that kid, he LOVES to be dirty!

Nice pics everyone. Jamie I really like the one of you at Jenny lake, so pretty, makes me want to go there. I wish I had a digital SLR, just have a point and shoot, I really need to learn more about photography because of course I do love to scrap my pictures.
