Does anyone know when there is a class on the howto's of Digital scrapbooking. I am all of a sudden consumed with wanting to do this. It seems so much better than the regular way and then I can have books made at Shutterfly. I don't even know how to use my photoshop but, I learn quickly. I am thinking about purchasing Elements??? Do any of you use this? Is it easy to figure out. Anyways, HELP...I need a place to start.
Thanks, Rachael
p.s. maybe someone is Sandy is into digital and I can pay you a small fee to come help me figure out how to do this. I have 2 little boys so, you could bring your kids and they could play. I am very close to the bottom of Little Cotton Wood Canyon. Thanks again.

Check back as we add more classes.
For now... you can start reading what is taught in the Intro to Digital Scrapbooking Class here (lessons 1-8) http://www.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/digitalScrapbookTips.asp
OR... we do have private tutors. I'll e-mail you the name of the girl who teaches in this area. She only charges $50 for two hours of one on one time and she'll come to your house.

Rachel, welcome to the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking. It's awesome for so many reasons and I love it!! I think the biggest plus for me is the "no mess" part. I also like the fact that I don't have to figure out which pictures to print (because I always ended up printing more than I used). I could actually go on and on about all the stuff I love about digi scrapping, but I'm sure you know most of the benefits already.
And don't foget, you can always ask questions here on this forum. We're all more than happy to answer your questions to the best of our ability.

As April mentioned, Digital Scrapbook Memories offers private tutors that come to your house and can teach you one-on-one. I am one of the private tutors. I think she emailed you my email address. My phone number is 450-1878. You are welcome to call me as well. After just one class you will be on your way! It is very fun and I will be excited to show you how to get started.

Thank you each for your replies. I am purchasing elements this week. I want the combo with premier as I make movies with Ulead and thought if I can figure elements out it would also make for better movies. It is just expensive (even on e-bay.) Anyways, I will get it ASAP and then I will DEFINATELY be asking one of you for help. I am glad to know there are people around who hate all the mess of regular scrapbooking. I love the idea of not having to develop a million uneeded photos if I don't want to. Oh BTW, I am happy to pay as much as needed to learn this stuff but, just to throw it out there....I am a pro skier, compete, have full PSIA cert, and ski with private clients all winter. I am happy to trade for a ski lesson or two if someone has been wanting to learn or get better. Rachael
