I have a bunch of old polaroids that I would like to scan in and photoshop.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to do this?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

What questions do you have more specifically? I would think scanning them would be simple like scanning anything else. It would be making the pictures look good after you scan them in that would be the question for me. In Photoshop I would play with the levels, color balance, hue/saturation and other things like that to make the photos look better.

I heard about a great way to scan a bunch of old photos on Katie the Scrapbook Lady's blog. I haven't tried it yet, but if you check on her blog you can learn all about it. She raves about the service and quality. Here's the link:

When I was scanning a lot of my grandpas WWII polaroids. The thing that me and my husband used a lot was...

Filter>Noise>Dust and Scratches

or

Filter>Noise>Despeckle

It just helps with the dust or scratches... We have Photoshop Elements. :)

Thank you, Jamie. I have about 4000 old polaroids that I have scanned and tried to fix about two years ago. I didn't save the original scan, corrected as best I could and do not like the results! I am beginning to learn pscs2 so I plan to rescan them again. I think it took a couple of months, but I want to save those memories if I can.
