ok, so i know this might be a weird:rolleyes: subject, but i thought a thought when doing laundry today. I love my laundry detergent! :DIt smells so good. and i need good smelling laundry detergent becuase i am a person who love smells!!! so i splurge on tide simple pleasures- the lavender vanilla is my favorite, but i also really like the water lily & jasmine. so the real reason for this is, what is a weird item that you feel you splurge on? Mine is laundry Detergent!!! oh, and i saw lindsay lohan again at the gym!!!- just a side note :)

Organic produce. It seems kinda silly to pay twice as much for veggies and my husband says there's no difference, but I can taste it! Organic carrots taste like carrots! The other ones taste like metal or something metal-lish. The worst part is that they go bad faster so lots of times I spend the extra money, life goes crazy, and I don't get to use them in time.

kind of a random question, but ya, since you mention laundry soap I loooove Snuggle's Kiss scent. I feel like the thing I most splurge on is hair product and facial care. It's my skin, so don't want just anything on it. And my sister does hair for a living so of course she would never let me use cheap shampoo and conditioner, so I always buy the expensive stuff and trust her that it does work better than the cheapy stuff, which I think it usually does :) Guess I can afford it since my sister usually does my hair for free.

This is my FIRST post. I'm learning so much about digital scrapbooking from reading all of your good respondes. I want to say, THANK YOU for getting on this message board and responding to everyone; so I thought I would give it a try. I like to splurge on shoes. I use to buy the inexpensive ones so that I could have more pairs, but I have found the expensive ones like the Born brand are so comfortable and they last for years :) It's better to have a pair of comfy shoes than a whole bunch of cheap ones. Now, I'm going to submit this to see if it works :)

OMG....SHOES SHOES SHOES!! and...victorias secret clothes..they are sOOOO darn cute!! but yea...shoes are a HUGE splurge. I stay home all day so I am basically barefoot all day..haha. I have a closet full of stileto and pumps. The funny thing is I never really cared about shoes until I had my son. All of a sudden this light goes on in my head telling me that shoes are the most amazing items in the world to own. HAHAHA

I splurge on Express clothing for me and my hubby. Also, clothes and shoes for my little girl. She's six months old and already has ten pairs of shoes! They are just so freakin' cute!
I love a good face soap! The rest of the soap can be whatever, but I love expensive face soap. I would have to say shoes as well. I will drop a million dollars on shoes without a thought but no more then 5.99 for a shirt!:D

A good camera lens. I splurged and bought an 85mm 1.2 and I love it, but I do feel a bit guilty having it sometimes. Also, moisturizer for my face and a good conditioner.

Yes! I love it! It smells soooo good! I only use it for certain items though. It is expensive so I can't justify using it for everyday laundry. I only buy it when they do the laundry sale. But they haven't done one for awhile. I'm bummed about it. They carry the dryer softener sheets too.

I love food. I think that a good place to eat would be mine, like the melting pot, or rodizios, or P.F Chang, or yeah... you get the point. I have a lot of shoes too! I wish that my splurge was clothes for me, but i can never find anything that fits me right. (I have Monkey arms)

Electronics is definitely my weekness. Unfortunately I can't afford to splurge very often anymore, but I do if I have any excuse to...like my TV just died so I bought a 37" LCD instead of the more practical 32" tube TV. Before I was a poor college student I bought everything I could justify in ANY way. I have a tablet PC, a desktop PC, 120GB portable external harddrive, GPS, 7.2mp point and shoot camera (purchased when 7.2 was pretty much as high as you could go without spending thousands), pocket PC, and the listgoes on and on. Right now I'm just looking for an excuse to buy a really high-end digital SLR. Actually the excuses are plenty but the funds are not. :(

P.S. April and Amy, as you can see I really don't ever go to sleep. I just finished my Physics homework and had to check the forums before heading to bed. :) I had a great time today...it was awesome getting to know you both!

Have to admit I'm on my 4th camera....Love to take pics of my grandkids...the more the better. Instead of presents I ask for money so I can save up for better camera's. It seems to work!

I enjoy splurging for the kids and grandchildren. It's so much fun to spoil them since we didn't have the money to do that with our own children. I do try not to go overboard, Ha Ha Ha.

I definitely splurge on anything Mac. We're not exactly rolling in money, but we've acquired quite a few Apple products. No price seems too outrageous. We LOVE them.

p.s. You guys crack me up! Have you seen the old Doris Day film where she sells soap? Your soap splurges reminded me of it... Especially when the pool gets all the laundry detergent dumped into it & the bubbles get so big that dump trucks carry them away. I love old Doris Day movies!
