HM for me. I think I was one of the last ones called (Wednesday after 5:00), so I had pretty much written off that I might be called. It just so happened that I was on a business trip to Hawaii (I live in KY) and on Wednesday, we had a free day, so I signed up to hike through the rainforest.

I think I'm the only one on the planet that didn't realize it actually rains A LOT in the rainforest. I had mud up to my thighs and one of my reps said, "I hear your phone ringing." By the time I got under my poncho, into my backpack, I had missed Fred's call, so I had to wait another agonizing 45 minutes. Fun time to get a call!!!

Anyway, I'm glad it happened when it did, because I'll never forget how nasty, grimy, and smelly I was, when the totally awesome Fred called!

Hi, everyone. Glad to be here, too. I think I was one of the early HM calls on Tuesday from Fred. I said "OMG you're THE FRED - you know you're famous over at the 2peas site??" hee hee

This was my first time entering - I'm still walking on air (I was so depressed after Monday night). DH is wondering when I'm gonna get off line from all the boards and actually finish the laundry. Hmm.. but last time I checked he KNEW where the laundry room is ;)

Yep, I did hear about the new date. I'm actually happy that it was pushed because I'll be out of town next week when it was originally scheduled to run. So the 5th will be perfect :D . The last two weeks have really been a scrapbooking dream for me :rolleyes:. Who woulda thunk?? Thanks for being a big part of my dream!!!

I am here :D April I had totally given up getting a call too. I almost missed the call because I didn't feel like grabbing the phone. Then it dawned on me that I might want to answer it when I saw utah flash on the caller id.

This is my first time entering and I wasn't even going to because I couldn't think of an inovative technique. I finally thought of one and started 2 weeks before it was due. Nothing like waiting until the last moments!

Congrats to all the HOFfers and HMers!!! I can't wait to see everyone's work!! I got my call from Fred on Tues night during supper. While I had hoped it was him I picked up the phone more expecting it to be a telemarketer (don't they all seem to call during dinner?)...this was MUCH better!!! :)

Another HM checking in. I did miss my call. :) I read that they only had a few people left to get a hold of so I figured they were just call backs and since I had been sitting by my phone all day I gave upl and decided to go work out. I heard my phone ring and figured it was just my husband and he'd leave a message. I sat down when I was done and freaked out when I saw it was a 801 area code missed call. I truly was in shock. It was one long hour to wait for him to call back but it was so nice to hear his voice.
