Meet and Greet area

I was thinking that we need a meet and greet area in the forum. I see new people registering all the time but I rarely see them post. Maybe this will make it so they'll feel more welcome, ready to join and meet us. What do you think, April? Just a suggestion.

I was forced into a 300 movie night, and I loved the show! It was great.
I liked Transformers a lot too except for that one scene; and if you have seen the show, you know what I mean, because now I can't let my 7 year old watch it and he would love it.

And... I love the brownie sundaes so much that is what I served at my wedding!!

haha oh ok I see! Well you can always turn your kids head and cover their ears for that part, dont want them to miss out on an AMAZING movie for a 2 mintues scene. haha. I just found your site and I am glad you started a thread for meet and greet so I could find a place to jump in and start posting! I have been digi scrapping since the first of June when I got a new laptop, (our desktop had been up and down, mostly down, since last November, I used dh's school laptop to check e-mail, that was about it) I have been itching to try it for a couple years though. I help with a scrap fundraiser for a local charity each year at the South Towne Expo and we have a few digi scrappers that come out, last year was about 5-6, I am hoping to make it more digi friendly and get more their this coming year cause I am Officially addicted!! (That's the first time I have admitted that!)

I do have a question though, do you only post LO's that are done with DSM cd's? Just wondering. Don't want to do anything wrong. I am excited to get to know you all!

I'll try to come back and post the question\ answer tomorrow, I gotta go to bed on time tonight.

Kelli West I have a feeling we would get along really well. I love LOTR and have found a few of the "Easter Eggs." It's funny what directors put into movies to see if people are really paying attention.
Have you read The Kingdom and the Crown series? It is a church book too. I read it right after Children of the Promise and enjoyed that too. Just a suggestion.

Oh, sorry... I forgot to tell you that I'm brand new. I finally got the site to take my registration so I could post. I have been using archival papers and such for scrapping, but I usually just put pics on the page. I really want to learn how to do this digital scrapping. I have Adobe Photoshop, Elements, and Premier. I am used to using a lot of software, so I will learn them quickly, but I know NOTHING about scrap booking. I have neices that scrap a lot, but I don't sit and watch a lot. I love this site and found it by accident. I have learned a LOT already! Jan

I auditioned for Savana Smiles when I was little. Well they contacted my mom and told her to bring me down. I was 3. When I got there, I would not say a word. They had a parrot in the other room and when I was with the parrot, I talked to it and they loved my voice. I would not cooperate with them though. THey decided to go with a 5 year old. That is my 15 minutes of fame (well sort of).
