As you may know...
Mom is out of town for a few days, so it is time for Dad to be in charge :)
(well in charge when the grandmas and sister in laws are not helping out).
But getting ready this morning it was all dad time! Including the girl’s hair. Now keep in mind that I have a brother, a brother and another brother. Never a sister, or any experience with this girl hair stuff. So I am doing my best here
:D
So I start the morning out very conservative. Trying to protect the "yesterday hair" as well as I can in hopes that somehow the hair do from yesterday that grandma helped out with can be carried over to today. So here are the evaluation photos, hoping to save something

Did I mention that mornings don't go very smooth for this girl???
So I soon realize that the "yesterday hair" is a lost cause, and that somehow I need to get this mess undone, and try to make it look better. So I dive into this project. Remember that she is already upset, so I start out careful with the big comb and getting it wet to help out. The face shows the disappointment in dad, and the words were from a 3 year old but said "that is not how mom does it", so I know I am in trouble. But I press forward. My plan "A" is to get in out of her face, and if that fails my plan "B" is to just get it straight so I can hand her over to grandma later.

I was lucky to get this one photo in with all the fighting that was going on
Well in the end I think it worked out pretty good. I am sure there has been better days, but I for sure could have done much worse. The hair is almost untangled, it is almost out of her face, and if anyone asks I can always just tell them that I "threw it together real fast and will have to fix it later" HA.. The real story is that I got lucky today and for me this is "trophy hair"
:D
