Cake Anyone

It is almost my little girls first birthday. I want to make a cute cake....I have been thinking about a butterfly,ladybug, or a flower. Do you guys have any fun cute/creative ideas? Let me know if you do.

I saw a cupcake mold at walmart that all fit together to make a butterfly. It looked so fun because then you decorate the cupcakes, put them together on a plate and it's a butterfly. Then you just pull the pieces apart to serve it. It was SO CUTE! They also had a turtle which you probably don't want for a little girl, but it was cute anyway. I think I saw a flower one somewhere else, not sure on that one though. I think they were Wilton if you want to look them up on the internet. Just an option. Good Luck!:)

I remember having a cabbage patch ice cream cake WAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the day. I got my cabbage patch doll named elizabeth because that was my most favorite name in the world. haha. Very memorable bday. I dont have a girl...yet...so as far as cake idea I am clueless.

Thanks for all of you help I will post a picture when I get done. I am lucky because ellie, that is my little girl, has a lot of cousins(14+) on both sides so we decide that we would have to have to parties. My family is first so I can try and mess up and they will have to love me anyway. Thanks again you guys are great. I still don't know what I am going to do.

there was an article in the des news last week about cut up cakes... I think the food day is wednesday ... there is a book called cut up cakes or something like that...
