Cool picture

I took my niece and nephew to the playground in my apartment complex today. I snagged my dad's awesome camera and took a bunch of pictures. I thought this one turned out really cool...I tried to duplicate the effect a few times, but none of the others like this turned out.

It was a totally lucky shot. I know what settings the camera was on, but I don't remember the name of the setting, so I'll have to wait until I can look at my dad's camera again. I tried it about 4 other times and everything was blurry on all the other pictures. My motto is "Take a ton of pics and some will turn out great" and that's how I get good shots. I took about 140 pictures in half an hour at the playground...that really is a ton of shots!!

You should post photos Britt! We would love to see them. I usually never get this lucky with photos either...I mean I get some good ones, but not this interesting. Like I said earlier, if I was attempting to make it look like this it would have never happened. :) All of you guy's comments make me feel good though!!

So cool, Alyson. I love when that happens! Almost all of my favorite pics were "lucky shots." When I try to get a certain effect, it never seems to happen. I subscribe to the same philosophy of clicking away to get a few awesome shots. I even did that with film, which my husband hated! He loves digital. It has saved us a ton of money on film and photo processing!
