Missed the deadline

:mad::(:confused:I completely missed the ENTIRE thread of the scrap swap for NOvember. I don't know how that happened, but I never saw any of it. I check a bazillion times a day though. Does anyone still want to play or post new photos for me to do? I am so new to this that I am terrified to play. Anyway, I will give it a shot if someone wants to swap. If not, I will wait till the next one.

Okay, I looked at her blog. I thought that I totally understood it but when I tried to do it...it did not work. I can email her or if you know how to do it I would love your help. I put some papers in the photobucket site. Then I went to the edit the HTLM I was not sure what to delete and what I should be typing in. I did find all of the places that she was talking about though. I hope that this is to to confussing. THanks for your help.

Tori, I wonder if it is the template you're using. I use the minima one but adapted to 3 columns.

Jamie uses the same blogger template as you, so I peeked on her code and if you make yours go from this: (this is from your code)

and change it so it looks just like Jamie's, except adding your photobucket link in the parenthesis after 'background-image:url'.

I think it has to do with where you insert that extra coding I talked about on my blog. Let me know if that works and if not, feel free to PM or email me and I can try to help you out!!! :)

Tori, I wouldn't really delete anything on yours yet, but maybe try adding this "chunk" of code (with your photobucket url of course) right below where it says body{
background-image:url(http://your photobucketurl);
background-repeat:repeat-x repeat-y;
background-position:120% 10%;
background-attachment: scroll;

See if that works at least for the background.

Yay, something finally worked on Brittany's blog!! :) Yeah, you have to go in and add the extra code to where it says "left/right sidebar" or something like that.

Yeah, I'm sure we could find a moment to get together, I just don't think this week will work though. Let's look at next week for sure.

I think that I almost have it. I admit that I am a little slow. I think that the problem is with the url that I am adding it looks like this <center>

Tori, from photobucket, copy the link that says "direct link"--you don't need the ones that have the <a href= or <img src=. Just the http:// one. Does that make sense? You only need the one link inserted in that code I gave you.

And you are not slow! It is confusing and strange, it took me awhile to kind of understand it.
