I'm not talking about OUR mothers, I'm talking about me dragging my kids outside this morning at dawn all dressed in clothes I bought for this very moment of having a fall picture taken with a pumpkin. It was quite chilly, the grass was wet and I had to bribe my son to cooperate. BUT DANG IT I WANTED THE PICTURES! So here they are...

I thought those were so cute when I saw them during the class tonight! So cute Alisha, and soooooo worth it! Your son and daughter will thank you some day when they have a modeling career! They are so cute! Great job at taking those!

LOL... the things scrapbookers do. Ha ha. I would have done the exact same thing but I don't think my kids would have been smiling. WAY cute!

Just a curious question. What did you bribe him with anyway? I need to remember these bribes that work for when Grace grows up and doesn't want to do something.

It was worth the work, Alisha! They pictures are fabulous! I agree with April: my kids wouldn't have been smiling either. So, so cute! It helps that you have gorgeous kids that are very photogenic! :)

If that is insane, then I need to be checked into a hospital or a spa. I have my kids pose all the time. You just need to know when to stop.
Alisha, your desktop was so cute. What are the credits?

You can click on Jamie's name next to any post and it will give you the option to visit her homepage.

Jamie, you should put your blog in your signature so everyone can see you have a blog and go check out those awesome pictures. They turned out really cute!!

Alishaw I have made my kids stand in the freezing cold to get a great picture. My hubby gets mad about that. He says that they won't work because the kids aren't cooperating, but man I want the photo.

Thanks guys! I'm trying my best to make due with my little point and shoot while saving for something fancier!
Jenny-my son is on a ticket system right now. (I change it up every few months so he doesn't get tired of it) He earns tickets by helping with sister, taking his nap nicely, extra cleaning, his teacher told me something nice he did today so he got an extra ticket. Then he can exchange them for a Super Why (30 minute TV program) or a piece of Halloween candy or 2 tickets will get him a trip to the park, etc. I try not to use them for everything because he still has jobs like bringing his laundry to the laundry room, clearing his plate, etc, so these are for extra stuff. He's really a good kid, but sometimes I hear "Mom I can't get you a blanket because I'm too busy playing a game right now." Where does a 4 year old learn that he's TOO BUSY to do what mom asks? So this really helps. His last one was a treasure map and his little pirate guy got to move a space toward the treasure everytime he did good things.

Scrapy-my desktop was made from PLAYGROUNDS and just stuff I made.

Jamie-it's not corny-it's adorable! Love the pumpkins. We don't really have any pumpkin places here except grocery stores, so I have my lone pumpkin in the photos (HA!) Beckham is so adorable!

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one that bribes my kids to pose in cold weather. Sometimes I feel guilty, but once I finish the scrapbook page, all the guilt seems to fade!

Me too! These look great! Do you use actions or just edit yourself? I recently purchased some photo actions and I'm loving the results.

I do them myself. I'm kinda a control freak so even though I love actions, for color editing, I play with the components myself.
Where are your actions from?
I do have a few from www.ezaction.com (http://www.ezaction.com) that I like.

Mine are from mindysphotoactions.blogspot.com (www.mindysphotoactions.blogspot.com), I have her vibrant color actions. Considering that I know little to nothing about photo editing, these have been great for me. Speaking of, I know it's not specifically scrapbooking related, but photo editing would make for a great webinar.
