I would LOVE to attend one of her workshops. Sadly... I'm not allowed to. :(

I contacted her when we first moved here about an upcoming workshop she had scheduled. That's when she informed me that her workshops were for out of state photographers only. I tried convincing her that I have no interest in starting a business... just being a better photographer. She said that she would let me know if she ever had a technique only workshop with no business info... but that was almost a year ago.

If you come for the workshop... let me know! I love have photography "playdates" with photographer friends who come in for her workshops. It's been a fun way to meet some of my online friends.

I LOVE Audrey Woulard. She is amazing, how great would it be to go to her workshop. Only in my dreams.... :) I'm not professional, but I love her work and follow her blog.

If you are thinking of taking any kind of workshop, I would read the reviews here first. They are very interesting to say the least...

Am I retarded? What is winter CHA?

Alyson

You are not retarded Kelli. CHA stands for Craft and Hobby Association. They have big trade shows for businesses in the industry. I only know this because I read the blogs of a few people who went this summer to a CHA event; otherwise I would have been clueless too.

Alicia, where do you find out where she is holding her workshops?

Alicia Story

I believe you had to express interest in her workshop through an email and then she sent the class information and dates out to those select people?

I have some friends who have attended (we had a big whole day photo playdate the day before the workshop). I can put you in touch with them if you're interested. Or at least get a review from them.

And definitely let me know if you're coming, I love an excuse to spend the day taking pictures! :D

Nothing. She's all booked and now probably not doing 2009. She's working on a colboration workshop with other photographers around the coutry. Keep checking her blog for info.

Anyone know where to find good classes locally? I live in Salt Lake and would LOVE to go to a photography class to better my skills.

Jill, PictureLine in Salt Lake has classes. They are free, but limited class size so you have to register. Also, Pixels in Sandy (about 90th S and State St) has classes. There is a fee, (I think about $50 for 1 1/2 hours) but it is one on one.
