Ok, this question is TOTALLY non-scrap related, but it is full of creative women, so I thought I'd see if any of you have any good ideas for me...

My 4-year old son Eric is a HORRIBLE loser, especially at board games. He totally comes unglued crying if it even LOOKS like he is going to lose. I know it is normal for kids to want to win, and I know he'll probably grow out of it some in time, but does anyone have any tricks for teaching good sportsmanship to preschoolers?

The kid loves games, but I refuse to lose to him purposely every time to keep him happy, kwim? I just don't want to perpetuate the problem that way.

Anyone have any hints that worked for them... or just want to commiserate? lol.

My two year old is like this too. I'd love to hear some advice on this too. One thing I do believe though is you are good not to purposely loose to him. You are pushing him to do better. If he can learn to control his temper(which I'm sure he will) I think this quality will actually be a really great trait later in life.

BTW Jennifer... I sent you an e-mail.
