I know it's a crazy holiday time, but I hope by doing the ScrapSwap this first week of December, everyone who wants to can still do it!

Post your pictures by Wednesday, December 5 at 10:00 PM. You'll download and do a page for the person who posted pictures just above you. Be sure to include: photos, journaling, dates, and your preferred size (12X12, 8.5X11, etc).
You'll need to post the finished layout by Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 10:00 PM.

AS A FUN TWIST- let's just use Digital Scrapbook Memories items. Change the color, crop, etc and be creative!

My trip back home with my new family

This was Shane and Caulens first time in the Vail Valley. We went and walked around Vail Village and ate at Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Vail Colorado. We then went to Beaver Creek and walked around the village there. I took Shane and Caulen up to where I used to work at the base of the Beaver Creek Ski Lift! We had such a fun day. This was part of our trip out to Colorado to visit Uncle Eric as well.

Just attach low res photos on the forums. Then, when the next person posts photos (that's who will do your photos), send them a pm to find out their e-mail address. That way you can send the high res photos directly to them. Does that make sense?

Journaling: I think my kids are the greatest show on earth. At just barely two years old, Zach is learning so many things. It is so fascinating to watch his development and see the wheels turning as he learns to do something as simple as threading beads on a string and arranging them in different ways. I feel so lucky to have a front row seat every day.

So - Amy - I'm taking yours... I'll pm you with some questions!

I was babysitting them for the weekend, and took them to the park after church on sunday! They had so much fun running up and down that hill! This was in November! I know I'm a day late but can I still play?! I was kinda waiting cuz I didn't know if Kelli would want me to do hers again! But no one else has posted and I'd love to do Kelli's if thats okay with her?! Here are my pictures....

Some of them need some help...lighting and fuzziness, etc. You don't have to use all the pictures...just whatever you think looks good or you want to do. As far as journaling.... there are a couple things...I'd like "Halloween 2007" somewhere and then the one with Zach and I:

"Zach dressed up like a pimp and I was an '80's beauty queen. That dress is an actual formal my sister wore in high school! That thing sure sparkled."

For the "U" picture:

"Zach goes to the U of U and I go to BYU. Enough said."

Kelli, how cute. I love the ZOO giraffe letters--so ZOOY!!! and the way you layered the pictures. I need to do that sometime; it looks so nice.

Just how did you do those letters?

well it was kind of a process, I cut out a square from the giraffe in one of the pictures, enlarged it, then chose the font i wanted, put it on top of the cut out giraffe, then i used the magnetic tool and selected around the font, and then moved it onto the page. I think that is how, if i remembered correctly...CC...my memeory is failing-Lol!

Kelli, thank you for sharing that. I wondered if that is what you did, but it is so nice to have someone else do all the work and then tell us that it can be done. You spent some time on that--you're a good girl:) Thanks.

Kelli, that page turned out so cute. I understood your instructions just fine. The letters turned out so cute. I think there's a quicker way to do that. You could hold control and click on the thumbnail of any layer (like you text layer) and it will automatically select the letters (put marching ants around the letters). Just wanted to let you know for future reference. You could also do a clipping mask/group with previous.

Liz, that really stinks about your computer. I hope they are able to save your files.

So these were some of the toughtest pictures to scrap so I did two TOTALLY separate color schemes to make it work. NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT THEM, so Amy please let me know what changes you want.
