They are perfect! I love the one of her all bunched up like a little peanut (that's what I called both of my boys when they slept that way) I love all the pictures and what fun you will have scraping them with PINK!! (if that's the look you're going for)

Britt, I know you are asking Jill, but. . . .I was in Costco yesterday and they had the Canon Rebel xt1 with 2 lens, carrying case, card, lens cover for $849. I was sick because I paid around $800 for the camera only. I love my camera and THIS IS SUCH A GOOD PRICE!

I have the Nikon D80 which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! It makes me look like I know what I am doing when I take picutres. It was my Christmas present last year. This year I get a new set of Knives. Not as exciting.

Kim tell me about it. I bought my XTi in September, I paid $800 as well. I love it too and if I had waited I would have missed out on some good pictures. I'm hoping that Santa got my list with the 50 mm\1.8 lens on it. If so I'll post pictures after Christmas. Oh btw cute pictures Jill

Oh Scrappy, I talked to Brookiewookie about a month ago about her 50 mm. She told me to go to B&H photo online. I got it about three weeks ago and IT is my FAVORITE LENS. You ought to see the sports (basketball) pictures that I'm getting INSIDE a GYM which is almost impossible unless you have a very expensive lens--this lens only cost $75. The key is the low aperature that this lens allows and then I took Keith's advice on the tips that he sent on this site and changed the white balance--they are incredible. You will love the 50 mm. Thanks for commenting on feeling bad about the camera price NOW at Costco--it always helps when someone is in misery with you:) but I love how you said, we would have missed out on some great pictures--so true! That makes me feel a lot better.

oooh- i am ordering that lens for myself tommorrow!! My dad and sister gave me money for my birthday to get a new lens (they together gave me $175-which is not a normal bday present, i think it's for christmas too) anyway, so i will have some money left over after that to buy another lens-YAY! I am so excited!

Jill, darling pictures. And Kim and Kelli, I'm so excited for you guys and the 50mm!! :) B&H Photo seems to ship pretty quickly, if I remember right. If that's where you got it from. Kelli, what other lens are you thinking about getting? I couldn't remember.....

Way cute pictures! I have a question. I have a nice Finepix camera. I love the photos it takes when I am doing a photo shoot, or for nice pictures. But, sometimes I wish I had one not so bulky for things like school parties, the park, and other times. (See, sometimes it is hard to carry the diaper bag, camera case, my purse, push the stroller, and also try to keep track of the kids. You ladies know what I mean.) Do you guys have any suggestions for something small that takes good photos? Thanks!
PS. Someday my DH wants to get a Cannon Rebel, so thanks for the heads up!

I feel like I'm always recommending this, but I LOVE my Casio Exilim (http://www.exilim.casio.com/). It allows you to quickly change white balance, ISO, etc. & takes awesome photos. Plus, it's like one of the tiniest point & shoots out there & it takes the best video quality in a point & shoot, too. I use it for all my food photography because it takes amazing macro shots as well.
Inkley's told me that Casio took all the best features of all the best cameras & piled them all into one camera, so it's like the best of everything in one. I went into Inkley's to buy a Canon (I'm pretty sure it was DSLR) with video capability & was so thrilled when they convinced me into the Casio (better video quality & photo quality, apparently, than that model & a billion times smaller than the Canon). I've never regretted it! (Sorry for being a broken record, guys! xoxo)

Quinn-Thanks so much! It sounds like others have asked the same question before. I checked out the website, and it looks like an awesome camera. I really appreciate your help.
