Today was an INCREDIBLE day! My brother & sister-in-law (Crystal) were sealed in the Manti Temple!!! It was an amazing experience! Congratulations!

And, how thrilled was I to be able to tweak some photos I shot in Photoshop to really get (I think) some neat results! I'm so excited about the finished projects that I couldn't help but show you them! Sooooooo fun!!! It does help that they're such a gorgeous couple... love you guys!

Quinn those pictures are beautiful. I am amazed at what you can do in photoshop. My friend just gave me a picture of the Salt Lake Temple that she antiqued and distressed. It is so gorgeous. I should take a picture and post it.

I was primarily using levels & then used the sharpen filter until I got the desired result (on that photo).

O wow, that's simple. I'll have to try it! Thanks!

question, does anyone know how to really "antique" a picture? How do you get all the scratches, and distress it so well? I just would like to try it out. Cause I love those pictures of all the temples that have been distressed, but they are so stinking expensive!!!

I agree, I'm not sure how to do it, but when I get home I'm going to try stuff and give it a shot.

My friend sells them for much cheaper than in Deseret Book. I asked her and she says she does a bunch of stuff to it in photoshop. I don't think she wanted to tell me all her secrets because that is how she is making money. I would love to do that to some other pictures I have. Please share whomever figures it out.

By the way, she made me one and gave it to me. I love it.
