ok everyone, i posted a slideshow of pictures I have taken on my blog. I would appreciate it if you would check it out, and give me feedback. I like being critiqued. so give me your full out honest opinions!! I know the slideshow is a little off centered, and I tried fixing it, but can't. so if anyone knows how to correct that the help would be much appreciated! Big thanks!! :yep:

Kelly! You are an AMAZING photographer. I think you could give most of us tips. As far as CC (not chuckle chuckle) it's hard to help with the slide show going so fast. Seriously though, you should be teaching me.

April, you made a BIG smile come to my face! You are a sweet heart! yeah, i will check on the speed of the slideshow! I am new to the whole blogging thing, and photobucket so i am learning! Thank you for your comments!! You rock!:ILoveIt:

The pictures definately are beautiful, but as far as the slide show, it is going way to fast to look at each picture. It shows the full picture for less than a second and then zooms really fast to the center of the picture. I would slow down the speed changing pictures, but other than that, it looks great!

Thanks you guys. I just tried redoing the slideshow, and it came out even more retarded, and so i tried again on a different setting, it's a little slower i think, the zooming in is not going on anymore so i think that helps. How do i get rid of the 2 "slideshows" below it now. I clicked on a lot of stuff, but can seem to delete those. harumph!!! Any help?

So beautiful! You are amazing. Did you teach yourself?

Kelli West

Thanks Jill! :) yeah i kinda did teach myself. I took a photo class in jr. high and high school, and just started taking pictures at friends and cousins weddings and that is where i got some practice. I have taken a few community classes. I still have a lot to learn. I need to learn the "technical" stuff better. I have just watched other photographers at weddings, and stuff like that.

Kelli! Kelli! Kelli! You take amazing photos! They are beautiful! And the speed was OK when I looked at it. Check your code for that image src and see where you've copied it twice or I think you can just delete that post and it shoud take care of it.

Yay!! I got it to delete. And i realized that there was a "limit" to how many pictures you can put in the slideshow, so it left out a lot that i thought were there, so i went back and made another one!!

Okay so this is a really stupid question but I have to ask. The black and white pictures with the color shoes, flowers, etc are all photoshopped right? Hey, it's 2 in the morning! It's amazing I can type!

Alyson, I do it on the side as a business. I don't advertise, everything is word of mouth, and it keeps me busy! I want to quit the job i am at now and just do that, but the people kinda need my help. If I left the store would probably fall apart.

Jenny, Yes I did use photoshop.....hehe, you crack me up!

Jamie, thanks! You are so nice! :) Jamie, you are amazing! I loved your photos you took of your cousin! You really should go full force into this!!!

does anyone have any suggestions on some things i could do better?....

Here is a tip, you probably already do this but here you go. When you are doing a full body shot instead of having the person stand with their feet together have them put one of their legs out in front of the other. It elongates the legs. I hope that makes sense. If not here is a picture. I found out this info from Darla. Other than that I don't have any other help. I'm not the greatest at photography.

Wow that really does make your leg look longer

:D

All teasing aside that is a good pointer, I just had photoshop open and had to take a try at that one, and it worked out better than expected :D

Jenny, you are right, it is subtle but it really does work. That is a cute shot!

Kelly, the slide shows look great now! Your pictures are shown in all their glory; beautiful.

Kelli, Kelli, I am impressed--you really have some NICE shots and a lot of your shots have what a winning photo needs--compositional elements such as spot, line, shape, repetition, texture and contrast! I am impressed and still smiling at your love for life--you're always excited! You make me smile.

Keith, I had to smile at you too with the elongated leg of Jenny's.

Jenny, that's an excellent tip.

Kelli, I wish I knew more about photography so that I could share some tips with you. Whenever I get my DSLR, you'll probably be the one telling me to "do this" and "don't do that".

Keith, you crack me up!! It must be hard for Jenny to get around on two legs that are different in length. JK.
