New to the forum.

Hi, everyone. I just joined the forum yesterday. I've been digi-scrappin for over a year now. I love it. I started traditional scrappin' 13 years ago. This is much more fun and less messy. Anyways I'm hooked. I recently moved to Sandy, Utah from Perry, and I don't know anyone. I joined this group with hopes of meeting new people who like to digi-scrap.

Hi Char! So glad you decided to post an intro...I love to here more about the people on the forums. I like your avatar as well. There a lot of people on the forums from the SLC area, so you came to the right place. The Hobby Lobby is at 11681 South Parkway Plaza Drive in South Jordan. I believe that is just off I215. If you've never been to a Hobby Lobby, you will love it!! They carry the DSM CDs and you will love those as well. You should also come to the free classes. It's a great way to learn new tricks and to meet some of these amazing girls on the forums. Glad you found us and decided to join our little group. :D

Welcome. Actually Hobby Lobby is off of Bangerter and 11400 S. You will really like it at the forum. I use to workin Brigham City and had a roommmate in college from Perry. She loved it. I liked it when I was up there. Everyone here is so nice.

Haha, I was wondering if anyone would ever ask about my stupid username:p No I don't drive a chrysler... I came up with it about 8 years ago when I picked a username when signing up for ebay. I picked it because at the time I had a friend who nicknamed me "chrysler" (long story) and my favorite color is green. So - from then on anytime I needed a username I just used that one (I generally use the same username and password on everything - I like to keep things simple b/c I get easily confused:P) Anyway, when I joined the forum I really had no idea I'd get so addicted and post all the time! Otherwise I probably would have picked a better name.

Anyway... probably more info than y'all needed!

Lynette, I loved hearing your story about your user name. I would like to know the rest of them. When I met Amy Whitney at a class in St. George, I asked her about hers (A to Z) She told me her name is Amy and her husband's name is Zack. That's where she came up with AtoZ I loved it. I thought AtoZ could be a great business name.

1- gullible(not really) 2-carrot head 3-big red 4- Kelli sunshine (mom called me that) 5-schwartz (maiden name...and yes I got Spaceball jokes all the time) 6-crazy red head 7-Kelz (husbands nickname for me) 8-k-dawg 9-kelster 10- K 11- Cari's little sister (I got this one alot) ...I can keep guessing if you want :)
By the way, yes at one point in time friends or family have called me these! Except for gullible, that was just for fun! :)

Here is my user name story:
I have naturally curly hair and when I was little my family would call my Riz, Riz Kid, or Rizo from the girl in "Grease" named Rizo who had curly hair. 2 is my favorite number and 22 was my jersey number in high school sports.

All these stories about usernames are so fun. I love you nickname Kim! I, of course, didn't choose anything creative as my username. I can never think of anything fun and creative that I would like to use, so I usually just go with Alyson or Alyson305...the 305 is for my birthday.

ha!! Lol..Kim I love your nickname! It's great! My best friends name is Kristin, and her little sister would say KIKI cause she couldn't say her name right. Well after her little sister started in I started to call her by it, then her family and other friends caught on and joined in. And at first she absolutely HATED it!! Then one day I called her Kristin instead of Kiki and she was sad. She said she had grown to love the name!! and now she doesn't mind. And she has a song...****SINGING MODE**** don't ya want a, want a FANTA...KIKI!! ****END SINGING MODE*** Have you guys heard that FANTA song? it's great, anyway so yeah! gotta love nicknames!

Crystal, no I didn't go to my 20 hs class reunion. Apparently I was on the missing person list and didn't get notified. Luckily this story has a happy ending. One of my close friends tracked me down and we ended up having a reunion at Disneyland. Well because she's live in Garden Grove, CA. I think I have a scrap page of that. Should I post it? Oh by the way I love that you think I look younger than I am. lol

I really love St. Patrick's Day. I went to Old Navy today and bought my annual St. Patrick's Day T-shirt (only $5). A couple of weeks ago I was thinking about all the T-shirts that say "Kiss Me I'm Irish", and I thought someone should make one that says "Who cares if I'm Irish...". Well, Old Navy has one now that says "I'm Not Irish but Kiss Me Anyway".

You can't add a picture in the 'Quick Reply' box. You have to hit the 'go advanced' button. Next you click on the paperclip and it will take you to the page where you upload the image. Select your file using 'browse' then hit 'upload'. When it says it's uploaded then close the box. Then you can hit the paperclip again and hit add atatchments.. Then save it.. You can preview it first if you want by clicking 'preview post'.

Thanks Crystal!! I think I got it. :cheer: I was making the mistake of clicking on the pic icon and not the paperclip.. Attached is a scrap page of me and my high school friend and my daughter, also I attached the pic I made my avatar from, maybe I look more like my age. ;)Thanks to rizkid for saying I don't look my age. I guess I made it obvious that I don't like getting older. By the way I've been making 4x6 or 6x4 pages and having them developed like normal pics to save money on printing costs.
