Hi everyone I found this site because I am participating in the ADSR so I signed up so I could show everyone my LO. Anyway been looking around it seems like a fun forum so I thought I'd introduce myself=)

My name is Ariane (but I go by Ari online) I live in Florida and have been digiscrapping for about 2 years now. My lil sister and I also just started designing about 6 months ago and we're having as much fun designing as we are digiscrapping. As a matter of fact my scrapping has gotten pushed to the back burner so that's why I joined the ADSR.

Let's see a lil more about me: I take care of my 27 yo cousin (Aurora) who has Cerebral Palsy and babysit my 16 mo "nephew" Draven 2 days a week, and on school breaks I also watch my 5 yo "niece" Mia. I have him (or them) 2 days a week. My niece, nephew and Aurora inspire ALOT of my LO's=) Also I have finished all my pre-reqs and am on a waiting list to be accepted into nursing school.

Well I have not started off to good, but I am very optomistic. I posted here and did not come back for a while, missing all of the nice comments. Thank you so much.

I missed my first class, because of a time mix-up. I am PST and I think I also mixed up the day and night thing on top of that, maybe date, I don't know. I have til March 22nd to figure out the next class. I was so bummed I miss the first one.
Tryin to stay positive about being in 29 Palms, but it is pretty yucky here. I came from a beautiful remote area of Coleville, California. It is near the California & Nevada border near Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and Mammoth. Absolutely beautiful! I can hardly wait to move back, I believe that is where we will retire.

But for now, we purchased a house here in 29 Palms (crazy!) and it is over 50 yrs old. Yes, we are first-time buyers with no education in home buying. It is a money pit and we hope we come out ok in the end. We moved here just a year ago, lived in a hotel for 30-days (8 mos prego) and moved into the house on Easter. Then had my 6th baby on May 5th. I am sure everyone knows what May 5th is! Yes, Cinco-De-Mayo AND National Scrapbook Day!!!!

I have been SB'ing since 1995 & the stuff is out of control. Everytime someone see's my SB'ing room, people say "this is a store" and my husband growl's at me. I am worried I won't be able to finish all of my albums, so I am going to try & convert to digi.

Oh about knowing anyone here in 29 Palms...I don't really know anyone here. Other than casual meetings of people I don't even know their names. Tried looking for SB group, with no luck.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Reconwife you need to contact lovejoytracy and get together with her. You guys could scrapbook together. If my friend did digital, I would tell you to get together with her. she is not the scrapbook type though.
