What resolution do you normally have your camera set on when taking pictures? I am new to digital scrapbooking and want to make sure I am getting the best pictures possible. Thank you!

I am not exactly sure what you mean by resolution, but I have a DSLR and I always keep mine on high. It means less pictures stored in your memory card, but they do turn out better. If you set your resolution to a number then I would go with 300. That is the best one to use when you are scrapbooking. Does this help at all?

Maybe I mean size??? Sorry, I am so new to this...I can choose from the following:

2048 x 1536
2048 (3:2)
1600 x 1200
1280 x 960
640 x 480

Thank you!!!!!!!!!

I would go with the largest size. 2048 x 1536 is 3 megapixles, so that is not a crazy big size. In fact I would not want to have anything smaller. I would shoot everything in that size. And if you find your memory card gets full too often, the price has really gone down on those and you can get a larger card for not much money.

And when you capture that great photo of the perfect moment. You will always wish it was in a higher resolution, so just start with the biggest one you have at the moment.

I agree with Keith! I set mine on the highest always so I can zoom in and crop and still get the quality and size I want.
