What did you do for Easter?

Just wondering what everyone did for their Easter weekend. My family and I along with a brother-in-law and his family went to Spanish Fork to my grandpa's Farm. Our first initial plan was to go to Antelope Island, but it was full. We had our trailers all loaded and ready so I called my Grandpa and headed to Spanish Fork. It was a great weekend for the kids, because they could play outside and explore the farm. Saturday we had a small easter egg hunt with my kids and brother in laws kids. Even the older nephews thought the egg hunt was great! Sunday my grandparents some aunts and uncles came for lunch. A pretty relaxing weekend although it was hard getting comfortable to sleep at night being pregnant and all. The kids had a great time and that is all that matters! So, what did you all do. Please tell!

We had an easter egg hunt Saturday and Sunday. It was fun. My MIL always does a fun party for Easter on Saturday and my mom always does a nice dinner on Sunday :)

Saturday dh took the kids to the easter egg hunt here in Riverton. I was in bed in pain. Then we went to Park City to do some shopping. I finally found some jeans yay. And an outfit for the kids. Then Sunday we when to church and came home and had a nice dinner with my inlaws. It was a great weekend.

Our neighborhood is full of people who love to camp so we go on about 3 or 4 campouts together every summer. Our first one was this weekend. We went to Zions and had a wonderful time. We had 9 or 10 families go and we hiked on Friday and Saturday. We had an easter egg hunt on Saturday morning. We had a potluck dinner Fri. night and sat around the fire every night and made smores and smacos. It was so much fun. The 70 degree short wearing weather was absolutely wonderful.

We stuck around home, but our family always goes to the park and have a picnic. We roll easter eggs down the hill and have an easter egg hunt. It always nice to have spring come along and be able to get outside and enjoy the season. I love SPRING!

Brittany, I bet Zion's was great! I haven't been there for years. That is a lot of families to go all at one time, but I bet you had a wonderful time. Peverill, I haven't ever tried rolling an easter egg down a hill, what a great tradition!

We did have some kids ask us if it was fun. My sister told them it was as fun as it looked. I had to laugh at her. It is only fun because I am with my family and we laugh a lot when we are together. I did give the kids a dozen eggs to roll just because we had way to many.

I was just thinking today what a wonderful weekend I enjoyed in St. George. Keaton, my 11 year old played in a baseball tournament--His team won 3 lost 1. The weather was so nice and I love being at any ballgame when it's warm. Saturday, we took the 4wheelers out in the sand dunes in St. George for a picnic with my brother and his family--20 people all together. We dug in the sand, played baseball, had an egg hunt, rode 4wheelers, visited and ate good picnic food. It was a 5 hour party. Sunday, we had another picnic at the park with my sister's family--25 people--good food and company again. I went shopping Friday and brought home an entertainment center for the family room that I had been looking for for over a year. FINALLY, I found one to match the other furniture in the room. It was a great Easter weekend.

We had a really fun Easter as well. Easter egg hunts and fun family lunches. My favorite part of Easter is seeing all the cute litte girls (and some big ones too) dressed up in their new Easter dresses. For me Easter means Spring is here and warmer days are on there way. I love it!

We got back from being in moab for 10 days yesterday. We did an easter egg hunt for Caulen on Sunday morning then drove back home...FINALLY! hah

We went and spent Easter in Idaho with my parents and some family. We did an Egg hunt for the kids and it was actually warm enough there!! It was a quick trip but was really nice.

We finished moving into my parents' basement and cleaning our house for the new owners. (We can't get into our new house until April 9-never recommend this!) Then my son got the stomach flu and threw up literally every 15 minutes for 9 hours straight (starting at 7pm) and then every half hour for another 3, and off and on for the next day. Not a fun weekend for us by far.:(

Thanks, We both still have runny noses and sore coughs in the morning. But We're getting better
