I was in Zions this weekend and those of you who know me know that I have to talk to anyone around me. I was on the bus in Zions and started talking to a guy about his DSLR. He gave me some great tips on what camera to get and talked about printing things. He asked if we had Costco out here and said they have the best prices. He also told me to download the print profiles from Costco and my photos would be great. Has anyone done this? Can you tell a difference? He told me to google print profiles and find the Costco ones. He said they are on their site, but it may be easier to just google it. I am curious to know if anyone has done this. He was a big time photographer who has taken a ton of photos so I think he knows what he was talking about.

I haven't done this but I have seen where that is offered on their website. I can help you find it if you need. The idea with print profiles is to have what you see on your monitor match what they actually print.

Okay now I am remembering that he said that. I was trying to take in everything he said, but couldn't remember just what they did.

For me... I like the way my prints look so I won't change to their printer profiles. If you are happy with how your prints look there I wouldn't mess with them either. It's great if you hate or are at all dissatisfied with the way your prints look though.

Thanks April. I like the way my things look so I guess I won't use them. Good info to know.

Very good to know. Mine turn out great as is, but if not I'd totally want those. Go Britt! Keep chatting away.
