Okay, I know there are a lot of you ladies out there that are awesome with blogging. I am still trying to figure the whole thing out. Today I was able to download a different blog template with a 3 column blog. I didn't care for the first one that I did. Anyhow, I have already started my blog but the whole left column is all in latin. How do I go about changing that? I use blogspot if that helps!! Any suggestions or help would be great!

i have now clue how I did it, I don't remember doing. There has to be someplace that you can change the language or something. I am so new to this, I just don't know.

Lana, maybe you and I can work through this together. I just started a blog yesterday and I'm a little overwhelmed too. I keep seeing these gals with such cute blogs with custom backgrounds and whatnot. Do these people actually know HTML, or am I just missing something here?

Cute blog Sarah. Love your header. Brooke has a tutorial on here blog how to change the background on a three column blog. I am sure it would work for two columns. http://brookie-wookie.blogspot.com/2007/10/dressing-up-your-blog.html

I too am jumping on the blog band wagon. I started one in January and didn't do much with it. But Sarah has inspired me to get back into it. We can all be noobies together!
here is my blog address, although it is nothing fancy yet.

Thanks for the link to Brooke's site. I was able to get my blog set to 3-column, but I couldn't get the background paper to change. I have my papers saved on picasaweb, but for some reason I couldn't get them to show up. It must not be sourcing the link correctly. Arghh! I just keep telling myself, "Baby steps. Baby steps."

way cute blogs Sarah and Jill. Yes, I would love to maybe figure things out together. You can check out my blog. The left column is all in latin, for no reason that I know of and that is what I am trying to fix. If you have any ideas let me know. My blog is www.bellfamclan.blogspot.com

Girls, may I give you a little bit of unsolicited advice? Be careful about how much personal info you put out there. Anyone can get any info you put on the internet.

My husband had a computer security training through the Army a couple of years ago. The guys teaching it started the first day by just throwing out personal info about these guys. Example... They'd say, "One of you sitting here has a wife named Barbara, a son named Ben, a daughter named Emily. You live in Bozeman, Montana. Your in laws live in Garden Grove, california.... their names are....." etc.

You get the idea. They did this with about 10 guys in the class all by Googling thier names.

All I'm saying is be careful.

I used to belong to a website where after about 2 years the site owner started posting personal info about people and things got really nasty. It's something that you would never expect to happen but he went to the net and got as much info as he could about people and tried to ruin lives. It was pretty far out there and most likely something that does not happen to most people, but it can happen. That is the point and the more info you put out there the worse it can be.

I don't know how the latin got there. Because I hadn't put anything in that area. Does anyone know how to change it?
