April Recipes

Okay, Jamie got me thinking about recipes. I think that we need to do a recipe again. Did we ever get the other ones somewhere we can get them? If so, I missed it. Anyway, I think we need to post a recipe of any kind. I think it would be great to have some new ones to try in April so, please post them by April 5th. March swap will be over and hopefully an April swap will not have started yet. Please include your name somewhere on the card... size 6x4. You can post a photo if you want to, but it is not required. I don't want Quinn and myself to feel bad about not getting the shots of food because we don't have an amazing camera. I know it (the food) doesn't move, but lets not upset the pregnant lady who is remodeling her house. :D I hope some of you want to do this one.

Alisha I don't think it has to have a picture. I find that many of my recipes don't have room for pictures. Embellishments will count as my picture.

I think we should extend the deadline until Friday. I did not get mine done either. My father-in-law has been in the hospital and we have been there since Thursday so I was unable to get it done. Oh yeah, I should change my avatar since Easter and St. Patricks Day are over.

Dessert? What is that? ;) I try to not make desserts. My hubby and I are trying to lose weight...although I am sure he wouldn't mind if I made choco chip cookies. If I made those everyday he would be so happy!!!! Lol... I guess you could say our dessert are the vegetables that are going along with dinner!!

Kelli, I'm so glad I didn't embarrass you!!! About DESSERTS...I keep those frozen ready to bake choco-chip cookies in the freezer and when I need one I just cook 3-4 so my DH and son and I all get 1. That way I can afford the points and there isn't a bag or whole batch to temp me. I've even done it with rice krispie treats-yep just nuke the marshmallows and mix in the rice krispies. If not, I eat the whole dang pan myself.

Kristal I make pavolova a lot and love it. I like to do mandarin oranges and then shave chocolate on top. I have been busy with spirit week at my little boys school and visiting my father-in-law but am doing my recipe now.
