Something new for my digital scrapbooking!

Ok, so i have been meaning to tell youguys, but a week ago this lovely piece of equipment came to me in the mail!!It's A 17 inch screen, and my husband got me CS3 to go along with it!We just barely got the internet going on it!! I am so excited to have this for the retreat!! Kim I have been loading up some of my cd's for some good listening and grooving tooo while we are up there! ") lol...yay! My husband loves me (well and i have been saving up my photo money) it's a very nice laptop!!

thanks Jenny! You always are so sweet!! It needs a little bit more work! I'm not quite sure how to do all that and make it cute! It all confuses me. So i just made that and upload it like i would have with a picture. there is that weird line around it that makes it look off center!

hahahahah....oh Jenny you are hIlarious!!! Lol...heck ya I get in bad moods (at least that is what DH says)! He says since I have RED hair and a GERMAN background that I am lethal!! Lol...he says you don't want to cross my path when I am hungry and tired! It's so not true. I'm never mad....(cough cough)!

Kelli, all you have to do to make it centered again is shorten your header by a few pixels. The box is left justified so when you load your picture it starts from the left and then the extra hangs over on the right. So, if you shorten it a bit it wont hang over the edge. Or you could go into the html and edit that part under header where it says how it is aligned, change it from left to center..

Thats awesome! Congrats... If I wasn't going to NY I would def. be coming to the retreat. However my husband did say, I could go to the next one, providing I don't have to be in NY!!!

I have Vista on my new laptop that my hubby gave me for my bday, ahh, what a sweetie. Actually, he was sick of me taking over "his" computer all the time. Anyway, I was very worried to use Vista, but I haven't seen a huge difference from XP, but I don't do much with installing programs and such. I let my hubby do all that. Sorry I'm not any help!

Awesome! I have a 17 incher too! Dell. I upgraded to the brown cover for the laptop - but it really doesn't LOOK brown. The idea was to get a brown computer with a pink case.

Anyhoo... on Vista -- you will LOVE the TAG feature. It's so easy to search for digi scrappin stuff with the tags. Some advice... when you buy a digi kit and the designer did not "describe" the color or something in the elements - ADD A TAG.

My Vista did have one snag but it did work itself out on the next auto update. I like it.

My husband uses Vista at work & loves it because it's really similar to the Mac operating system. I don't know if any of you have seen the video tech reviews by David Pogue (New York Times Tech Editor)- we think they're hilarious! - but he did one comparing Vista to Mac OS X. Randy & I watch David Pogue's video reviews in bed with popcorn... nerds, I know, but he cracks us up. I'm mainly posting this for Keith. We have a small ongoing Mac vs. PC battle & I hope he thinks this is funny.

That is funny that you watch those in bed with popcorn. By the way, I drove pastyour house on Sat. and it is looking really good. I can't wait unitl it is done and I can go on a tour. I bet you can't wait either.

CONGRATS!!! I love new computers...plus a laptop is fun for digi scrap night! I also Have vista... and I do like it a lot! Heard the horror stories from people not in the know. It is a lot easier to navigate. :)

Thanks everyone! Vista has been great so far...just still getting use to the small differences than XP!! I love it so far though :) I think the horror stories are just from when they first released it. They improve and fix!
