Ok Well. I did this as a challenge and It could use more work. Well I did a different than normal angle on the shadows, and the orange ribbon doesn't have a shadow because of the element, but the staples do. So opinions please. Do the shadows look silly? I don't have anyone else to ask. Plus I had a hard time finding stuff for halloween?

Jodee, I really like it--it looks fall like. The swirls look like cornhusks and the journaling shape looks like a tombstone. I like the tag hanging down. It really looks nice.

I think it looks great JoDee! Just combining the oranges and blacks makes for a great Halloween feel, even if it's not Halloween-themed stuff. I think purple and green are great accent colors for Halloween too.
The drop shadows look good - I use drop shadows on practically everything. Once I apply it I click on the little white circle on the layer and from there I take the distance down to 0 (usually - you can play with that - but I usually do it under 7 if not 0). Sometimes I also take the opacity down a bit using the little slider. I find that making those adjustments makes the shadows look more realistic. Hope that helps! I love the layout design!

I did not think to lower the opacity on the shadows. The ones on the staples are a 1 and they still look big to me.

I took this picture of my youngest grand daughter and it reminded me of a photo of myself at about the same age. I don't generally use this many elements, ... let me know if you think it is to busy. ( I kind of scrapswapped the layout from Digiferfer.... ) I used the Moods Dreamy kit except for the flower clusters (spring slushee kit) and the ribbon(champagne wishes) they are from Digital Scrap Book Place.

Kelli- I really like all of your pages even if they are copied. I have seen people say on here that you can use my template yada yada yada... How do you use someone elses template?

A layered template can be used by clicking on one of the layers of the template, dragging your paper or element over that layer and then using a clipping mask in the full version of Photoshop or Layer>group with previous in Photoshop Elements and your paper will conform to the shape of that layer. Then pick another layer and keep going. It is a really quick way to scrapbook, because someone already designed the page for you.

Maddie, you asked and you know how bossy I am! I think it would look great with one of the pictures on the left backed in brown or something brown in one of the corners--piece of tape, that paint mark in Oh Boy or just something to help balance it a little better. I think it's great tho and I love your red wagon page. That cute little red head is fun!
