What are you doing today?

Me? I'm finalizing things for the scrapbook expo, answering phone calls and e-mails, designing paper, taking care of cute kids and organizing the house.

Our clothes and bedding finally came back from the fire. I can't wait to have things back in place again. We were able to move back into the house last Saturday. It will probably be a month until the kitchen is done but I don't mind. I hate to cook anyway.

Today...I worked this morning, and have been taking care of kids and sitting here too long, ever since :O
My shuffling of children came to a halt when it started snowing :P We have about 3ish inches. Crossing fingers school does NOT get cancelled tomorrow!

Glad you're back in the house, April!

Today was spent recovering from yesterday's playdate - 11 kids under 10 and 3 moms. :p

And I scrapped during naptime!! Gotta love that!!! :)

I've been busy monitoring a playdate of three five year old girls (my daughter and her twin friends). Fairly easy :) girls. So I was able to play with some new Daisy Bucket papers. It is the baby boy line . . . so sweet. Fun to get some scrapping in during the day. But now, the hard part -- cleaning up the mess :( . Why must I be such a messy scrapper??

Good to hear you are back in your house, April.

I took DD to the scrapbook store to do a make and take (she loves those!), then to the library to take back books and get some more. She's seven and is currently really into art books. You know the big heavy ones. She got some children's books, too, and I got some fiction novels and big photography books. One is on b/w wedding photography. I glanced at it when I got home. There are a couple sections that made my head spin with the technical jargon. So I'm going to go back to it later and try again.

Now I'm puttering in my scrap space. Not accomplishing anything!

I am stressing over how unprepared I am for the holiday weekend which is officially right now since all of my kids are now out for the holiday break...

I am with you on the holiday weekend and kid craziness. I love having them home but it sure makes for a loud day! We finally bought a playground for our backyard, but it is only half set up and I am having a hard time keeping my kids off it. They are so excited!:D And so am I. Now they have lots to do right in our backyard. And that means more free time for me to scrapbook!

What kind of playground set did you buy Jill?? We're planning to get one this summer.

And, along with holiday weekend plans, I woke up this morning to snow! That's definitely NOT going to help our egg hunt tomorrow morning!

We just got the playground that was in the last Walmart ad around here. We were going to go for super fab, but then our checkbook said no to the super fab and yes to the Walmart special. It is pretty cool though, it has a fort and a rock climbing wall and all the trimming. My boys are in heaven! And therefore, so am I.

It got really cold around here and I am wishing it was warm and sunny agian.:cool:

Sorry I haven't come out to this board. I was trying to yesterday (omit my message, April), and for some reason I wasn't allowed to post to this board. My life is full of technical difficulties :)

Anyway, April, I'm glad you're back in your house and that you don't have to cook! Good luck with the kitchen.
