While here in NY with Zachary doing MORE treatment... I just can't seem to concentrate, but wanted to know I haven't forgotten you all, it's so hard to concentrate and do this stuff... Hoping to get home Wed. at earliest or in two more weeks at latest. We never know our schedule until last minute, makes general life hard at times, but we deal w. it how it comes..
These pages are our some of our friends we have met in our journey here in NY. These kids all have the same disease as Zachary and some are not doing well (Jack Brown) however others are hanging on! God Bless you Jack..
Enjoy..

Hey Amber! The pages are looking good. You are catching onto photoshop really quick. Sounds like the digital stuff is perfect for you since you can just take your laptop with you whever you are off to next. And Zach looks a lot bigger than when I saw him last. What a cool kid

First of all - not boring pages! They look great, and those kids are all adorable. I was reading an article recently about how scrapbooking can be theraputic when you are going through a difficult time or dealing with a difficult thing like cancer. I hope it has been for you! I hope the treatment continues to work. Keep us posted on how things are going.

Sorry about the typos in my original post! I agree as digi scrapping is the best way for me to do it and i truly love it! Thanks for getting me involved April and Keith I can tell you it has really helped me get through some tough times lately and have shared it with some other moms here in NY, hopefully they to will start enjoying it as much as I do!
I think the next time I am here in NY I might gather up some moms and teach them what you have taught me and get them connected with us all here! I do believe it is also therapeutic.
Zach has grown a bit, but not much, however he has hair right now and thats probably the difference, that and he has heavier clothes on he is still scronny... LOL However the hair will unfort. be gone again in a month or so when we start MORE DARN CHEMO. arrggg...
Thanks for the compliments, and am trying to learn PS, I LOVE THIS STUFF... I wish you all healthy and happy lives! I hope none of you have to go through what we have as this way of LIFE is NO FUN AT ALL.. Sorry for going on and on! Just ready to get out of NY and go home for a bit!

Thank you everyone! I guess I am just TIRED of living the life I now live and need to redirect to be more positive. It's just a LONG TOUGH BATTLE, one I would like to have never started. Whatever tho. were home now for about a month or so, then back to NY... Sometimes I wonder (alot) what I did in my past to deserve this, and evenso wonder more what Zachary did to deserve this. People say, the lord chooses the strong ones, I really don't know if I understand that at this point. Sorry..,. Back to Scrapping... Later on I plan to take some alone time and do a few more pages.
Thanks for all your kind words of encouragement! It truly is appreciated.
Amber

I think we all struggle with the why's. Why does God give seemingly endless trials to one person and it seems that others skate along without any problems. I think there are two types of trials, the kind that come as a consequence of our sin and the kind that God gives us to make us into the kind of person he wants us to be. I've thought about the trials the prophets in the Bible faced. They were righteous and yet they were put in difficult situations. Joseph was sold by his own brothers into slavery, accused of adultery and thrown into prison. I think he must have been lonely all those years-no family, no wife, no children, and truly awful things happening to him. I don't think he ever expected those things to happen to him and he certainly didn't do anything to deserve it. And yet he forgave his brothers and became a source of strength to his family, even saving their lives. I could give other examples (i.e. Noah, Moses), but just wanted to share this since it has given me comfort and the courage to face the trials I have. Hang in there. I know that the Lord is watching out for you and your family and will bless you with whatever you need.

I think we just need to find the good things that happen through the trials.
Trials are not punishments, more Love from him just helping us along so we learn certain things. I have had a lot happen in my life, much that I have asked "WHY ME?" but it never got me anywhere. That is when I started looking for the good in a rough situation, and in the end I am very grateful for the trial that I had so I could learn what I needed too. Many of us are too stubborn to just learn, so that is when the trials come and make us learn!! I hope you get through those tough times. Know that we are all here to listen and to help!!!
