Hi, I just bought digital scrapbook memories collection 2 to get started with digital scrapbooking. I opened it on my computer and can't figure out how to download it to my Photoshop Elements 6.0. I know it sounds funny and probably is really easy but i would appreciate your help... and any other simple tips!!!

Oh wow another Stacy, cool. I save it to my hard drive under documents, in a new folder called Digital Scrapbook Memories. Then to open the files I use File - Open - locate the file and click open. I learned a new way this weekend. Open my documents folder in a new window, then drag the files into photoshop. I hope this helps, if now someone else may have a solution or you can check out the "Tips" page. I like the Collection 2 CD.

Thank you!
Okay now.... Can you put papers into the photobook or can you only make individual pages?

I think I said welcome on another thread, but just in case, WELCOME!!

I'm not sure what you mean by the photobook. Maybe that is an Elements 6.0 item that I don't know about. I just make individual pages, and I'm not aware of any other way to do it. Can you elaborate on the photobook thing?

Hi, thanks Kelli and Alyson for the welcome.
Alyson, yes I had 5.0 but now have 6.0. 6.0 has a photobook feature. I just got it so i don't know it well. but instead of putting out a white screen it puts out a book for you to decorate and add pictures and then you can send it in and have it printed all in adobe. It looks nice and very user friendly, but i can't figure out to use the papers from here on it. 6.0 has more of it's own papers that i can use but i want to use these the DSM ones.

Sassyheart, sounds interesting. I don't know anything about, but maybe someone else here can chime in if they have any experience with it. The program may just be limited and that's why you haven't been able to put DSM papers into the pages of the book. If that's the case, I would just make the pages one at a time...there are also place you can send your individual pages to be bound into a book.

Alyson, I figured out last night after hours on there that the book works so that after you do the pages then you can put them together in the book and have it bound. I guess it doesn't work well to create in there or maybe it does and i haven't figured it out so iam going to just make pages and thentransfer them to a book when i am done. If i can ever figure out how to make the pages!::rolleyes:
