Hello from a Newbie

Hello,

Just want to say hi to everyone. I'm new to digital scrapbooking and really enjoy it so far, even though I haven't done very much. I've just signed up for the beginner class and am really looking forward to it! I have PSE 4 and am amazed at what can be done with it. There's a lot to learn there, so I'll probably be needing lots of help, and I'll probably be posting quite a few help requests.

Thanks for the welcome! I live in Pennsylvania with my wonderful husband and we have one dog. I would love to do some neat LOs of her, but she really isn't photogenic at all. As a matter of fact, I think she's camera shy. Every time I try to get a shot of her she turns her head away from me or moves away or anything else she can do to keep me from getting a good shot! Well, I'll keep trying.

WOO HOO hi Teejay! I had Jenny do a LO of my dog Harley whom I love dearly, for the scrap swaps we do here. She isnt photogenic either which is why I have to take equal amounts of photos of her as I do my my very photogenicly, unwilling to look at the camera and smile, son. hahaha. We are all stoked to have you here and will do whatever we can to help you be AWESOME like kelly in scrapbooking. I am a beginner as well!! WOOT

Thank you all so much for the welcome!! I do have one question. Can anybody explain what the difference is between an avatar and a profile picture? I'm kind of lost. Thanks.

The avatar is what will display under your name when you post. Your profile picture is what will show when people click on your name to veiw your profile. :)

Welcome Thresea! And a shout-out for Pennsylvania! I just moved from Pennsylvania a few weeks ago... all the way across the country to Arizona! I must say there are many things I miss about it already. Anyway, hope you stick around and become as addicted as the rest of us! :D
