Hello from Amaris a Newbie

I am new here.

I am taking the beginners class on July 14th.

My daughter and I want to scrapbook all the different things she is doing with Girl Scouts.

I have a Kodak Easy Share camera and I live on the computer I just got PSE 6 That is what I could find.

I feel this is the easiest way for me as I am a computer neird and live on a computer.

I also feel it is going to be a cheaper way than it would be to do it on paper because of everything you have to buy for on paper and you can only use most of it once.

Welcome to the forums!!! So glad to have another newbie with us. It seems that we just keep getting more and more of you all... I LOVE IT!! Digi is great because it's cheaper and easier....I also think that it looks cooler ( you can have more fun with it)! Let us know if we can help in any way!

I really dont know where to start so I am hoping the beginners class will really help.

I had found a program that you can do them but you have to use there layouts and I really didnt like that because if you had more pictures than they have for it and I dont like that I have no say on the way it is layed out so I thought this would be a better way of doing it and much more freedom on the layouts.

Hi Amaris!! Welcome to the coolest forum ever! I definitely agree with the easier and cheaper part, plus you can print more than one of your layout without the extra work, and you have it all backed up on the computer. There really are so many advantages to this way of scrapbooking.

I'm sure the beginner class will help a lot. Alisha is an amazing teacher! Also, remember that you can always ask us any and all the questions you have. Can't wait to see your layouts when you get going!!
