For the August advanced class we are going to do a fun open class where you guys will decide the topics. We'll spend a few minutes on a myriad of different Photoshop techniques, scrapbooking ideas, show & tell layouts you've seen and want to know how to do it, etc.
So start posting here things you want included in this fun random class.
I'll post the date for this class sometime this next week.

I like Kim's suggestion. I'd also like to know more about the blending modes.

Can we also talk more about all the different filters and stuff? You have showed us one or two in classes but that would be really fun to just zoom through the entire drop down menu and see what they all do!

Is there a way to make it look like edges have been inked? I'd love to learn how if so.

You can do that with actions. I have done it and love how it looks.

I would love to learn more about making layers look bent or curved...like what to do with the drop shadow to give the effect that your photo is curved up at the corner, or that a flower embellishment is more dimensional.

I've read a few tutorials about this stuff, but I still can't quite get it to look realistic.

Here it goes Ive got quite the list. I would like to learn how to do Burning, Dodging, Silhouettes, add color to one item in a Blk & White photo, how to make a paper look folded over and how to cut a picture partially to make it look like it is 3D. Yeah Im so excited. :cheer:

Brushes and Actions sounds good, but any of the above will work for me.

Alisha, it looks like you have quite a list!!

abudge, I made a tutorial for folded corners. That may help shorten the list a little bit. Here's a link (http://innucescrapbook.blogspot.com/2007/11/tutorial-folded-corner.html).

Thanks Cassie! I need to do more with it...life has me so busy that I don't get to scrapbook as much as I would like to.

I hope no one thought I was implying that the list should end...just that Alisha might have to do more than one class to cover all the topics (which is a good thing for us). You are awesome Alisha, and I really hope I can attend this class.

Ok, it's probably too late for this month's class I know, but I would absolutely LOVE IT if we could go over what the heck gradient maps are for at some point. I've heard people talk about it but I am clueless.
