I saw a commercial on TV for a touch screen computer...can't remember what company was advertising it, but it wasn't Apple. Apple better hurry on this one if they want to be the first in the industry.

Yeah HP has come out with a touch screen computer. It seems like Mac and PC are really dueling it out lately trying to beat eachother.

yup, here's the link to the HP TouchSmart (http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/touchsmart/#/Main/) $1499 (Costco). I must say, I'm impressed. My hubby got to play with one today at Costco & he was really impressed, too. Lookin' good HP. I never thought I'd say that. And, amazing commercials. The little finger-print one is my favorite. I just got an email today that Mac has lowered the price of the 24-inch iMac to $1499. Coincidence? I bet not. I wonder if these touch screens works as well as they look. I love my iPhone but I don't think I'd want an entire touch monitor for all my computer needs. I'd probably rarely use the touch functions. I wonder if all software is compatible (i.e. Photoshop). Fascinating where technology is going!

Touch screens are absolutly the future, I think that mouses need to peace out and totally be replaced with touch screens and tablets :) there will always be a need for a physical keyboard unless you can do a multi touch keyboard on your tablet or somthing.
Who knows!
I personally think that Minority Report is coming true for their multi touch screens! Amazing movie I might add.

I was just checking out all the cool features on this baby, and decided to check Staples.com to see the price...it's on sale for $1149.98. That's not a bad deal. It would be even cooler if those little legs and the back prop folded in and you could take it on the road as a laptop. It does look pretty portable though, so I guess you could still take it on the road. Hmmm...

...just realized there are two versions. The top-end one is $1499 and the lower-end one is $1299 (that's the one on sale).
