Alishaw or anyone else who knows,
I remember you posting something about nudging in Elements 6.0 and tried to do a search for it here on the forum and can't find it. I have trouble using the arrow keys to nudge and it is so annoying. What do I need to do to make it work? Thanks,
Madeline

Madeline,

I had problems too and I looked it up. There is a little bug in the program. Once you've used any kind of special effect (drop shadows, etc.) the arrow keys don't work anymore. They get stuck in the special effects box. So I do all my editing first and then add my special effects when I'm finished. Once you close out the program and re-open it the arrow keys are back to normal. Hope that helps!

I remember Alisha saying that you have to click on the bounding box, then you can use the arrow keys to nudge. It is frustrating. I always forget the little trick.

Oooh! I just tried the trick with clicking on the corner and it works! Too bad Adobe doesn't know about that one! Haha!

They are aware! the nudge won't work ANYTIME until you Ctrl+T or click one of the corners to take you into transform mode.
Silly little thing that kills you when you've been so used to it!!
