Blurry pictures

Is anyone else having the same problem I am? When I upload my layouts they always look a bit blurry. I change the size just to upload so they will fit. How do the rest of you upload to make them not blurry and what size do you make your layouts? I mean like 600x600 not the actual page size.

For the albums, the layouts have a smaller max size than the max size for the thumbnails (posted to the threads). I uploaded my first layouts to my album at using the max size for the thumbnails which is 244 Kb. The albums automatically resize them and that is why they turn out blurry. I've gotten much better results now that I make them smaller.

For layouts in your albums:
Max size is 97.7 Kb
Max dimensions is 600X600 pixels

I change my image size first to 600X600 pixels and then I adjust the quality to under 97.7 Kb. Hope this helps.
