Mostly I was on the Air Force Base (Spangdahlem), but I did get to go to Trier for part of one day. I really want to go back and have the opportunity to see more of the country.

Fridays are usually really good because hubby is actually home! lol. We usually go out on Saturdays so we can go earlier because our daughter has started babysitting for us and we don't like to leave her late. However, the 17th is my hubby's bday and I probably shouldn't leave him on his bday, but certainly don't change it for me. My next couple months are insane, so I'm not sure I could come even if you changed it. Sorry! Hopefully next time.

I am not going to lie here, so I have to say that Friday nights are not my favorite to go out with girl friends. So here are the details so far:

As far as food I don't know if we all just want to bring something or if we want to do it like we did last Winter and have Quinn's mom cater it. Quinn what do you think? what does everyone think?

So i talked to Quinn more about it and we decided that we should all just bring a snack..so whether thats a dessert treat or something more like veggies or dip...whatever you want to bring! Also...lets say no kids unless you absolutely have to.

As far as directions to Quinn's she said to just PM her and she will send you them. Anything else I left out? We wondered about what to do..if we just want to chat and hang out or if we want to do a project or all share photoshop tips...? Anyone have any ideas?

I will try to be there for a little bit. My mom lives down the street from Quinn so I hope that she will watch my kids. I would be fine to do whatever (chat or project). We could always make a cool tile picture or a fun Halloween tile. Maybe a few people could design them and we could decide what ones to do and print them out to have there that night? Everyone could bring a 6x6 tile or a bigger one if that is what we choose. That is still a project, but an easy one that doesn't require much so we could still chat and have fun. Just a suggestion though.

A card exchange is when you make a certain number of a card such as birthday, thank you, get well.....and then exchange them with other people! When you leave you will have 10 different cards! It would be way fun to see what everyone else came up with. We could even do a theme like Christmas...or Holidays. I think that it would be easy with digital because you would only have to make one card and then print duplicates. We could even use Cathrine's idea from the retreat. I would be willing to buy a pack of the cards from Walmart that she talked about. We could just tell everyone what size to print, and then we could glue the prints and the cards together at Quinn's house. We would have tons of time to talk and still leave with other peoples great ideas. (I am not sure if this breaks any copy right laws. We might have to do it with DSM CDs that everyone owns.) Let me just say that I totally don't care if we use my idea! It's just a thought and I have never done it before with digital. Let me know what you think.

I am planning on being there, even though we don't know how many will be there we could we could all print 10 and take ten home so even if we don't get one of every one that comes brings you take the same number home and if there aren't 10 people there (heaven forbid you all better come!) we could take 2 of the same or something.
I know this won't help tori to bring the right number of card bases.
The info that we would need to get is what size prints we need to get for the cards. I know I have made the standard size before and I just used a 4x6 print, but I did have to cut part of the 6 in part off. So if someone knows the right size that would be great! (if that is what everyone else wants to do)

Sorry I haven't been more on top of this. Some family issues have come up and I've been dealing with that. Since the get together is tomorrow I think it will be hard to get a group project together....and I'm not sure about the copyright issues and honestly, it makes me tired even to think about it. So...if someone else would like to be in charge of a project then thats awesome but if not I just say we all come and hang out and bring any projects we are working on, etc.

Remember to bring a snack to share too!! Tomorrow, Friday 17th at 7pm at Quinn's. PM Quinn if you need directions.
