Yesterday I was looking for my old High School Yearbook and I couldn't find it but instead, I found my old Scrapbook....

Because of this special event, I thought that it would be fun to have everyone share some of their first-ever and most recent LO's to see how far we've come.

Here are my first-ever...

LO #1 (http://forum.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/album.php?albumid=81&pictureid=1290)

Here are my most recent...

They worked for me. How old were you when you made those pages Jamie? What a difference!

Well, I won't post my paper scrapbook pages from back in the day (I started when I was about 13) but here is my very first digital layout:

The dark photo REALLY bothered me so I actually re-scrapped it... I have a policy to never re-scrap pages but I really wanted to fix the photo and make the journaling stand out more:

And here's one I did earlier today, it's for my Disney album that I just finished:

I have grown and learned way more in the past 3 years digi scrapping than I ever did doing years of paper scrapping.

I think you have to be Jamie's friend (by that I mean official forum friend) in order to see her albums.

Jamie, you'll have to send them friend requests if they don't send you one first.

Here is a link (http://forum.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/album.php?albumid=1&pictureid=157) to one of my first digital scrapbook pages that happens to be showing of a couple of my first paper scrapbook pages :)

Yeah sorry I'm mean... you have to be my friend! It's my way of being the most popular person on the site / jk!

But you can be my friend here (http://forum.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/member.php?u=199)...

Lynette... is this cool or what, I love to see progression.

This is such a fun idea to share! I had to go downstairs and take pictures of my HS scrapbook. I graduated in 1997, and finished this scrapbook before the scrapbooking industry was what it is. So the whole thing is on loose paper in a postbound album I got from Hobby Lobby. It's mostly newspaper clippings, certificates, programs from play I was in or saw, memorabilia, and pictures. Here's just a sampling (http://forum.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/album.php?albumid=147). They pretty much all look like this. Oh, and this is before I knew about "acid free" so some of my pictures have discoloring from the glue! :(

Here's my Sept album (http://forum.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/album.php?albumid=135), but I think some of my favorite pages were made during the "Digi Olympics." I absolutely LOVE the digital obsession!

I decided to do a little progressive look at my scrapbooking.

Disneyland: this was one of my very first pages (I'm not actually sure which page is my first, so this might be it). Notice the total lack of journaling...just a title and not even a date.

Aspen: I finally started journaling on my pages. I had this insane idea back then that all my pages needed to be white with small accents of color...CRAZY!!!

Italy: Finally got away from the all white page craziness. I actually really like this page. I included it because it took me hours and hours to cut out all those letters that way for the title; something that would be fairly east to do in Photoshop!

We have so much to look forward to: This page represents the extent of my embellishing during my paper scrapping days (and few eyelets and some thin twine); I never wanted my pages to be too thick. Plus, it was one of the last I did before changing to digital (well actually I have some 12X12 pages, but my scanner doesn't accommodate that size). I should really get rid of this page since that is me and my ex in England a few days after we got married, but I figure it's part of my history so I'll probably keep it.

Megan and Jeff: this is my very first digi-page.

My most recent digi pages are my Digi-Olympics pages here (http://forum.digitalscrapbookmemories.com/album.php?albumid=101).

This was a lot of fun Jamie. Thanks for starting this post! It inspired me to take a moment to look back and see how far I've come.

Alyson, your Italy title is way cool! It's like reverse clipping mask! I think you should keep that one page for history. And your first digi page is way better than my first digi page!!!

This is so cool guys! We're so much better it's not even funny...

I wonder what we'll be like in another 10 years?

Pft. In 10 years we won't need scrapbooking. We'll just plug our brains into the tv and download our memories anytime someone wants to see them! haha!
