Ok so I have been lurking a lot lately cause I have been really busy and out of town. But I check the forum almost everyday, it helps me my day complete. Well I had a great vacation! We went to Cali for 10 days the trip there and back were long, but not too eventful. While we were there we did lots of fun things, (San Diego Zoo, Camping at the Beach, Discover museum, ...) and lots of time to relax. I came back feeling refreshed and great.
Then I have had two things of bad news this week... the baby is fine and I am fine for the most part, but I really need something to cheer me up! And all these prego hormones are just not helping either. I know that laughter is the best medicine, so please help me laugh girls!
I know you can do it! I will give a huge ciber hug to everyone that can make me laugh out loud!!!!

well I did not take a picture ... but imagine this... I bought one of those large buckets to put 50lbs of rice in and it was in the kitchen... my two year old grandson dropped his little cars in there and bent down to get them out... well the bucket is half as tall as he is so when he bent down he fell in and his little feet were sticking up and he was yelping to get out... it was so funny but I thought it would have been mean to leave him in there to go get my camera.. so I got him out

:)

Go to this website and watch Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog (http://www.drhorrible.com/) (click on the "watch it now" link to watch it for free). I think it's about 45 minutes long, and very funny. It is broken up into three parts so you don't have to watch them all at the same time. It was made by Joss Whedon during the writer's strike.

P.S. The ending is actually really sad, so don't watch it if you don't feel like seeing a sad ending today.

I thought of another video. This one is only 35 seconds long. Go here (http://mer-ra.blogspot.com/2008/09/great-day-for-swim.html) to watch it on my cousin's blog (I link right to the post with the video)...that's my cousin in the video. LOL!!

Oh, I've got a great one! You HAVE to read this blog post (http://butterflykisses-m.blogspot.com/2008/09/snaggle-tooth-and-poodough.html) from my friend Margaret. It's about why you should NOT leave your baby alone in just a diaper. Don't read if you have a weak stomach! She sent me pictures and it was HISTERICAL!!!

I saw this on a blog the other day and thought it was funny. What would the election be without a little jibjab humor? Go here (http://sendables.jibjab.com/sendables/1191/time_for_some_campaignin#/teaser/1191), it's not that long.

I have a couple things:

Go to my sister's blog here (http://www.toddandjenny.blogspot.com) and read the first entry. If you want you can browse through other entries too...my brother in law is hilarious so a lot of their entries are funny.

Also go to YouTube and search for "the napkin musical". Its hilarious!

I about got myself fired from my church job last night when I started giggling (sounded like wheezing since I was trying to hold it in) during a prayer. The prayer won't talk to me now! I just couldn't stop. So imagine me shaking with laughter, wheezing to keep it quiet and two other ladies bursting out in loud laughter during the prayer because of me. HORRIBLE!!

you are all so funny! I just LOVED that campaignin' music video! I think my favorite part was when obama was prancing through the forest and then leaped onto a unicorn...lol...so funny!

WHAT!!!! MORE INFORMATION REQUIRED!!!! Why were you laughing? Did you REALLY get fired? Was it a paid job or something volunteer? Does the pray-er need a lesson on forgiveness? (snicker snicker hehe)

OK a little more information on the situation. (Thanks by the way for no one asking, I couldn't talk about it yesturday without crying, but I have it better under control today).
Monday I went to the Dr. and found out I have a "bone tumor" (they don't think it is cancer but they are going to check it) on my toe, where I had the toe nail removed and I have surgery scheduled on Tuesday for that, I am not scared of hospitals or Dr.s but I am only haveing a local in my toe, cause of the baby so I will be awake and that makes me a little nervous cause I can hear everything....but that wasn't the worst of it this week.
I got a letter in the mail that stated I have a warrant out for my arrest. Any of you that know me know that this is laughable... I have never even gotten a speeding ticket. I actually laughed when I read the letter, knowing that I had a rescheduled court date for the ticket that accompanied the accident I had 4 months ago already (the summons for the court that they sent me got returned to them and I never recieved my first court date). But the thing that made me really mad was that they confinscated my utah state tax refund (there was a mistake made by our accountant so it was comming later than it should have been) as part of the bail amount.
Now I don't know how the court system works... like I said I have never even had a ticket before so I called the court house to ask a few questions and found out pretty much that if I show my ID to a police officer for any reason (like getting pulled over) I will get arrested. Now this doesn't scar me that much for ME, it would be a funny story to tell down the road if it just concerned me, but I am 6 months pregnant and I almost ALWAYS have my kids with me. So can you imagine mommy gets pulled over for going 2 over the speed limit and leaves in hand cuffs in front of my 2 and 3 year olds... plus they already took over 1000 dollars with my tax refund that they are telling me I won't get back no matter what and they want another 2 grand for bail and a huge amount for the little 35 dollar(that's how much it should have been when the first court date came around) fine for the ticket.
SOOOOO This is why I needed to smile, yesturday was a non functioning day, and today I still don't want to leave the house, (I'm afraid to drive at the moment) but life has to go on until my court date Oct 20th, I can't hide until then I have to live, but if I am off the forum for an extended amount of time, you will know why. :)

Ouch! What a pain in the behind. I would get an attorney and see what they have to say. Sorry about all that. Hang in there. :)

OH my ... how frustrating the legal system is to deal with . And I agree with digimad... I would get an attorney (even if you think you can not afford them ) ... it will make it better for you in the long run ...

many years ago I was "arrested" for a ticket I did not pay for my dog runniing at large... funny now.. not then.. the case was dropped but it was tramatic at the time ( i did not actually go to jail, just had to sign a paper and leave)....

Alex, I'm sorry you had such a horrible day! I can't believe that kept your tax refund. I would definitely hire a lawyer because that whole thing sounds so messed up! My heart goes out to you!

Lynette, I've seen his floor routine which was equally as funny. I loved the splits he did under the beam. Did you catch that he's from Murray, Utah?

Thanks ladies for all the love! As long as I don't get arrested I will think this is funny after I go to court, just another good story to tell, but until then I am driving 5 under the speed limit, so if you are behind a really slow maroon mini van, just smile and wave.

Update... on the 20th I went to court... it was a long wait but it turned out good, not perfect but good. I didn't get hauled off to jail and I do get my tax money back except for a $50 fine, which I should have had to pay cause my registration was expired (by a few days).... but the unperfect part is that I am on Probation for 6 months... I asked the judge why and his answer didn't make any sense, but I am guessing that is because I was a no show the first time and I had to have something happen. The probation is unsupervised, I don't have to do anything, so in 6 months it's just over (unless I get into trouble for anything except a traffic vialation, which has never happened before). Sorry I didn't update sooner, I have thought about it so much that I thought I had done it.
PS My whole family was very worried about me and so they all called me later in the day after my court... and they all laughted that I was on probation... and yes it is funny, if you know me at all, I have even laughted about it... a little bit.
