I'm working on planning the next Digital Scrapbook Memories Retreat next spring. Yesterday I totally filled all but the driver's seat of my Tahoe with some really awesome things I bought to give away at the retreat. I can hardly wait to show them to you... but I will wait :)
If you want to PM me some ideas on how to improve the retreat I'd love to take your suggestions. We did discuss some changes we plan to make and I'm excited to make this retreat even bigger and better.
Will you answer this poll for me? I want to know if you liked going to Park City or if the location really matters since we are so busy in class the whole time. I chose Park City last year because it's such a fun place but I think it would be easier for me to hold the retreat in Salt Lake plus I think most of those that just want to come for the day will find Salt Lake easier.
Also, I am going to work on a seperate price for you to come to the event if you don't want to stay over in the hotel. I'm curious how many of you want that option.

This is so exciting! I can't wait to hear more details!! I voted for either Park City or Salt Lake. I didn't vote one way or the other on the hotel issue. If it's in Park City, I think I would rather stay in the hotel, but if it's in Salt Lake, I might just drive home between days. However, I really had a lot of fun hanging out in the Lobby with a bunch of people until 2 in the morning, so maybe I would stay in the hotel one way or the other.

any options for places outside of UT?! Not yet :( Right now I have the biggest customer base in Utah so it's easy for me to do these here. If anyone ever has a decent size group out of Utah we could travel to you though.
What is a decent size group, you ask? I don't know but we could always PM or e-mail to discuss.

YAY!! April i can't believe this is allready happening again!! KIM is my roomie!! HAHA!! I'm so planning on coming again! It was such a blast! April you so rock! Ok, I'm with what Alyson said (although I will stay in a hotel any way ...it's the funnest)!! Park City or Salt Lake will be super fun!!
I was so sorry to miss the last one and really wanted to go. Many of us head to BYU Women's Conf every year and the retreat was the weekend before (that I remember) and to hard to take two weekends off. I would love to come to either place if they are not back to back again. SLC is closer. WC is April 30th and May 1st.

Oh Dear! We just have to have motel rooms; I need my fix with Kelly and that all night party in the lobby was enjoyable. It helped us all bond with each other.
On another note, will Keith be coming again this year:)

It wouldn't!!! Poor Keith he takes so much from us girls! ha ha ha!
I'm super excited and I don't care where it's at just as long as we do it! If I did the over night thing, I won't miss out on the lobby party this time (nobody told me about!) :(

April, I think we need a hotel with a lobby away from the rooms...that way we don't have to worry about being too loud. ;)

Guess what girls? I think I found a GREAT place for the retreat in SLC. I will hopefully be able to give you the final details soon. I'm leaning towards April 23-25th but it's not final so check back for more details.

YAY! I've already had more people asking about it and want to definitely come. I think SLC will be more accessible to people, but either way, YAY FOR THE RETREAT!!! :)

:) Well, I have to do what is best for the retreat no matter what the poll outcome is but the poll outcome is VERY important to me. It looks like it will be downtown SLC, but it all depends on whether or not I can get a great hotel when we need it.

I had three in my hand for her--Kelli, you were piled so high I think you had a hard time seeing in front of you. I think we'll have to be her baggage carrier again, there's more shopping in SLC. We'll do it Shelle Belle because we love you so much and not to mention you are a lot of fun.

Shopping? What is that? Those of us in rural areas don't even know what that is anymore! How I long for someplace to shop besides WalMart. I think I might have to come to the retreat and join Shellie on a shopping spree.

Digimad..... YES!!! Come shopping with me. We can get Kelli and Kim to carry our bags. They are good at it!! We have no stores up here either. That's why I had to take advantage of being in Park City.
