Will You Help?

Hey guys! My close friends and their three young kids moved from Utah to Galveston Island about 6 weeks before the hurricane. The hurricane hit their house hard. They got 4 feet of water in their house so they have lost almost everything they own. Insurance will not be covering their personal belongings.

I love these people. They are incredible and I want to help them the best I can. Today I was able to get a booth for Digital Scrapbook Memories at the Women's Expo that is going on this weekend at the South Towne Expo Center. We will be donating 100% of the money brought into our booth this weekend to the this family.

Do any of you who live in or around Salt Lake want to donate your time to help us in the booth? I need help all day both Friday and Saturday.

Some of you know the family I'm talking about. Please don't write their names on this thread until I get permission from them to share their names, ok?

If any of you want to donate money to this family I can get you information on how to do that in the next couple days.

I have 2 questions. What times do you need? Also, if it is at South Towne wouldn't you need the people in Salt Lake not up North? I may be able to help I need to see how it works with my husbands schedule. Does the family need anything specific like clothes that some of us could help with? I guess that was 3 questions.

I need help the entire time right now. I have no one to help yet because I barely decided to do this. The show ends at 8 both days.

Does the family need anything specific like clothes that some of us could help with? Yes, but I know they have been getting some of that. I can't coordinate that right now but I can write up a list and give it to you guys another day when I get it.

I wish I could help. I half thought about coming down to the Expo to do some shopping but circumstances have changed so that won't be happening. If it were in Idaho I'd totally be there!

April, I don't know anyone, but I love your product and might be able to help as I live just around the corner from the expo center. I had wanted to attend the show anyways. It would give me an excuse to check it out. I'm actually off work Friday - just need to get the youngest off to school - and don't have anything on Saturday's calendar until about 4:30pm. If I can be of help, I'd love to get to know everyone better. And if it helps you figure me out, I'm in Jill Oaks' ward and she has helped me out getting started with this digital thing. Let me know if you need my help.
