ruler/grid on Microsoft Digital Image Suite

I was asked a question at the SLC Expo today about the Microsoft Digital Image program. The user was trying to turn or on view the grid or ruler features so they could align their photos / border / etc more precise. I have been researching it and could not find the answer. And the owner’s manual (2006 anniversary edition) does not even mention the tools. I am thinking that it is simply not part of the program. Can any one confirm my suspicions? Thanks

usually when I want to be very precise about lining things up, I click on the rulers and pull them to the edge of whatever I'm working on. Does that make sense? There are no "auto aligning" features taht I know of... which is kind of a bummer but I've always been able to get pretty close to perfectly aligned with the rulers pulled in tight. : )
