I really love this Lucy Lu! I have a few suggestions... the dark swirls look a little harsh to me, so I would play with blending modes one them... maybe overlay, soft light or hard light? This would blend them into the paper but it would still have that lovely swirly effect. Also, I love that quote, but I think it would look great in the font you used for the other journaling, and in the same black color - maybe a bigger size too. Good luck w/ the party, I'm sure your parents are going to love it! They look so cute together.

I like this too LucyLu. I disagree with Lynette about the changing the font style on the quote. I like it being different. She may have a point about the swirls...I found it a little distracting reading the date with the swirl showing through that much (and maybe increase the size of that font a little?). I assume the 1958 date is when they were married? Any chance you have a pic of them from that date and might want to have a "then" pic with your "now" pic?

Sadly I can not find a still picture from the wedding anywhere

LucyLu,
It is easy to use the blending modes. In your layers palette, click on the layer you want to change. Then click on the box at the top of the layers palette that says normal. Choose overlay or whatever you want from the menu. You can change the opacity if you want to create a more or less blended look. That's it.
