Brooke made super cute cans to put things in. There was one at the scrapbook expo so I hope that you know what I am talking about. They are also on her blog, but I don't want to post those since they are not mine. If you know her blog, you can go and search projects to find them. Long story so bear with me please. Anyway, I went to Roberts to get the cans and they are out. My niece had her baby and I am putting some bows in one of the cute cans. The Roberst by the hospital has some, but I don't want to go there, get the cans, come home, put them together and go back to the hospital. Here is where I hope someone can help. Brooke is not home to help me now. I want to know what dimensions to make the picture to put inside the can. I am hoping to do this, upload to Costco and pick up the photos and the cans and assemble them in the car. Easy enought right? If any of you have made these cans and know the dimensions, would you please let me know? I am making the smaller can. Thanks for your help.

I don't know, sorry. You may be able to call them and have them measure it for you.

Brittany I got some cans at Robert's too! THey have some at the Jordan Landing one. If you figure out the dimensions will you post them for me too? I was thinking about using them to decorate the house for every season; just change out the LO and save it for next year (if I still like it).
Thanks, your a peach! I'm sorry that I'm not more help with the dimensions.

April or Amy if you read this and have the can from the Expo would you measure it for me? I think I am going to call Roberst later, but just need to see if someone already has the dimensions.

I have the small clear paint cans if those are the ones you mean??? Lid is 3.75X3.75 and the body is 15 X 4.75 if you want to show some through.

Thank you. Brooke gave me dimensions, but she did not have the lid size. Roberts has these on sale for $1.94 if you want small ones. The one in South Jordan is out, but more are on the way.

Hi! I already talked to Britt but here are the dimensions in case anyone else wants them. I'll try to post the can I made for the expo here sometime today, just so you can see. It is the EASIEST project but turns out really cute I think. :)
I make my insert 13.5 inches by 4.25 inches, to allow for you to get the insert in without ripping or bending it under the lip of the can. There is a little bit of overlap on the ends, like .5 inch or so. Also, since there is about .5 inch uncovered at the top, I cover it with a ribbon along the outside of the can. Just a little FYI!!! Hope this is helpful. :)
