I miss you girls, I've been so busy w/ my mommies network stuff I haven't had enough time to play and be creative.
I recently acquired some free overlays. It looks like they are textured paper. Who do I use them to create my own papers? They are png files.

I think you can just drag them over whatever paper you want and play with the opacity, etc. to get the look you want. If you want a plain color and the overlays have the texture on them, you can probably use your paint bucket tool to make your canvas the color you want and put the overlays on top. I think there are ton of ways to use overlays. Haha, I'm a poet.

If I'm understanding it right, you could also lay them over a solid color (or any paper) and play with the blending modes, as well as the opacity.

Lynnette is right! I love the overlay and soft light blending modes!! But the others create very cool effects too. Drag it over the color you want and then change the blending mode (in the layers palette it's a drop down box that says Normal most of the time) then play with the opacity to get it like you want.
