I am helping my friend do t-shirts for the elementary school. One place will design, but another company says you pay extra to have the design done. Do any of you do designing? I know photoshop a little bit, but not enough to make my own design. The mascot is a road runner and to be honest, nobody is thrilled to have that on their shirts. One company designed a cool swirly graphic to put under the school name. I guess if anyone has any suggestions or tips on how to design a random graphic, I would appreciate that.

I would think you could come up with some great ideas that wouldn't be that hard. Look at some shirts they sell for the different universities and copy one of them. If the roadrunner was really small it actually might look kind of cool.
What about a small roadrunner with the school name in basic print accross the front in a 1 inch tall line? Simple, classic... could be good and you could definately do it.

...another idea... it may be too late for this year but our school had a contest where the kids could submit an idea for the t-shirt.

Thanks April. I think I will look around at other schools.

My son's school did t-shirts last year. They had all the students draw self portraits, then they made class shirts with each childs picture, including one of the teacher. They did each grade a different color.

Our elementary did them very Hard Rock cafe-ish with swirlies and a bit of a trendy feel. Very cool! You could do a roadrunner that looks like he's running with swirlies behind him?

Our shcool did the self portrait shirts last year too. They were cute, but the teachers said they did not like them because if they wore them this year, it was last years class. I like the idea of Hard Rock cafe-ish Alisha, thanks.
